Everyday's Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Colonie

Truthfully, one of the most awful experiences I have had at a restaurant in a long time. The wait for us to be asked if we were ready to order was atrocious enough, not to mention the almost 45 minute wait to get our food while there were only TWO people at the bar just drinking. It's really just unacceptable to have to wait almost an hour for a burger and some fries when the restaurant is basically empty. I don't give low ratings lightly , the only saving grace was the fact that the burger was okay. When we finally got our bill, we were made to seem like it was our fault that we didn't ask for a separate check, when that is something that should be asked by the server, instead of just assuming. Friendly staff. Very good beer prices, albeit with limited taps (4). Super-divey (my preference). I did not order any food, but everyone raves about their burgers. Here's the problem, and here's why I can never go back: Like every bar most of their food is fried. But they have serious problems with their ventilation system, and I quickly became overwhelmed by the thick smell and visible haze of oil and burned meat in the air. If I hadn't had someone with me I would have walked out after one beer. I couldn't wait to get out of there to get a fresh breath of air and to clear my burning eyes. Wife and I on a quest for the best burgers in town agree we would go here before settling on Smashburger. But, the main feature of the burgers is not burger but the topping choice (which is very good).
