Where do I start? Just listen to past reviews. So disappointed in our experience. Took a cab here Saturday night because we were planning on drinking. The parking lot is very small so glad I did not drive my own car here and have to park in tight spots or have to wait for parking spot. Had a reservation for 2. The place has a smell of cleaning products but like a underlying dirty stenchā¦like a dirty rag. Took 30 minutes for someone to take our order after being seated. A couple arrived 5 minutes after we did and they were immediately served and orders taken. 3 other parties of large groups also came after us and even they got their orders taken before us. We felt stupid sitting there waiting for someone to greet us and take our order and literally we were about to walk out right before they came to take our order. Not sure why it took so long, maybe they just do their best to cater for white people/large parties only for higher tips. š¤·š½āāļø We also did not receive a drink menu and when we asked for one, they literally asked my partner to get up and follow someone to get one. Rude, if Iām paying for service, you bring it to us. I was rushed while ordering, the waiter started taking our menus and about to walk away before I could finished ordering food. I literally had to spontaneously yell āwait, wait, Iām not doneā. The appetizer we ordered (quesadilla) was brought out to us not even a second later so I know it wasnāt fresh. The quesadilla was SOAKED in chicken juice or whatever it is they use. Soggy and gross. Oh and I randomly looked down at my plate while eating and found a big ant. IDK when it got there. I donāt do bugs especially when Iām literally paying to enjoy my food. My partners chicken tacos were also disgusting. I ordered tacos de alambre, the ONLY good food we received and ended up just sharing it. Drinks were good and strong. If I didnāt get tipsy I wouldāve left this restaurant miserably. 110$ down the drain plus my cab fare round trip. Literally poor service. I wanted our experience to be good so bad because who likes to waste time...

The back room had been reserved months before for us 60 Superbowl friends/fans to eat the evening previous to the Game. Appetizers had been pre-arranged by our organizer, and the rest of the individual ordering was up to us. We all arrived at 6, as per reservation and went to the back room. Here I should say that the path from the parking lot was thick with ice, but at my polite request a staff member salted it.
The appetizer table was already set up, and the spread tasted very good, although there wasn't that much of it. But that was OK because we were looking forward to whatever our main courses were going to be.
ONLY ONE WAITER was supplied for about ten tables, each holding about 6 people, and he began taking our orders around 6:30. He was an intelligent young man, a student at the nearby university, very personable and somehow maintained a cheerful demeanor though he'd basically been thrown to the lions.
In sympathy I asked the manager for more help for him, and was pretty much ignored. Later a smallish young waitress came in to help, but while the two of them were really trying, there simply wasn't enough manpower.
Our food BEGAN arriving at about 8:15, two hours after ordering, table by table. The organizer's fiance sent his back- it was cold. I found the manager again and pointed out that by the time the last table was served, the first tables would have finished their meals long ago. I was ignored again.
I'm not going to waste any more time describing this outhouse, except to say I paid by card without adding a gratuity and surreptitiously gave the waiter a large tip in cash both to show him our appreciation and also to make sure the execrable management couldn't steal it.
Please, just do not bother with this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy friend and I visited this store 2/13/24 around 3pm. Although it was quite slow, it took us about 10/15 minutes to be acknowledged by our server, Jessica (after being overlooked by other servers, hosts, food-runners, and management walking around the restaurant). When Jessica came to introduce herself, we informed her that we were ready to order everything at once yet once she took our drink order, she then disappeared again for another 15 minutes. After receding our two drinks, we then placed our appetizer and food order (which we were able to see her ringing in our food late, causing the appetizer to hit the table 20 minutes after ordering and our food coming coincidentally 10 minutes later). No water until we had to ask (we ordered alcoholic drinks orhinally), no napkins (except for the tiny one that comes with our silverware but if we used that, where would we rest our silverware?!) , no plates to share apps/food. Nobody came to check on us, nobody came to see if the food was warm, hot, cold, nothing.
But you know what Jessica did AFTER we asked her and the manager for the check (that took another fifteen minutes to print)? Jessica came back to the table and complained about the tip we left her after splitting the bill, hovering over us and pointing to the suggested tips on the receipt. My friend and I are servers ourselves, we love going out and tipping the same way weād want to be tippedā but why would we tip you on your absolutely horrible service? Not even once did our server say ābe right with youā, āhow is everything going/tasting?ā Itās ridiculous and itās even more ridiculous to come up to guest and beg them for more of a tip. WHEN YOU DID NOTHING FOR US. She couldnāt even remember our drink order and sent the bartender over to ask, āshe forgotā. Very...
