We really enjoyed our stop at the Tap-n-Pour this afternoon! Four of us came in for lunch and to try out the drinks.
It was our first time at a self-pour tap room and it was a neat experience! They talked us through it when we arrived and explained how it worked, and took a credit card to put on the acct and got a few cards to use for drinks.
We picked a table from all of the unique and interesting tables set up around and got settle in. We used the QR code to pull up a menu and there were also paper menus to check out. We were able to place our food orders using our phone which was simple a f perfect. No feeling rushed to get everyone to agree to be ready to order. Worst part was we were ALL torn between multiple options! š¬ It all sounded great.
Then over to the taps. Several different sizes and types of glasses available, along with (not sure of the official names but wooden flight boards and then the same thing but in a square š¤·š¼āāļø) There were 30 options, from (again Iām not a beer person) IPAs, seltzers, hard ciders, ales and lagers, sours, domestic imports, and some wine and other beers. You pay by the ounce based on what you pour after you scan your card. And they vary by ounce on price. They make it easy to get a bit of all if you want, with glass rinsers. And itās all computerized so you can tap on any of the options for more info on that particular drink. It was fun to try the different choices. And it looks like some number are swapped out from time to time, also, as we saw some listed as āon deckā. We got the notification that our food was ready so ran over to the window to pick that up. It was great! 2 of us got specialty grilled cheeses with chips and good pickles, one got a pulled pork French bread pizza, and I got loaded tots. I did forget to get pics of most until we had started to eat, and the lights arenāt bright in there, so theyāre pics but not the best. But the food was delicious on all fronts. Grilled cheese was light and airy, a different kind of bread than Iād ever had. My tots were loaded with cheese and bacon, and daughterās pizza was loaded up. Weāll be stopping in again, Iām sure! It was a nice atmosphere, great food, loved the whole concept of the place. Well...
Read moreDo yourself a favor and check out Tap N Pour!!! This place is awesome. The service is great; the staff are all friendly and helpful. The food is so good! We ordered the jalapeño popper nachos, pulled pork grilled cheese, and the Buffalo chicken grilled cheese. The pulled pork is amazing, seriously sooo good. There is a wide variety of beer to choose from, including some domestic beers, a Handcrafted soda, a few wines, and plenty of craft beer choices. There's truly something for everyone. They even have a cooler with some canned options as well. It nicely decorated and laid out. There are mismatched tables and chairs throughout giving it a very eclectic vibe. They have board games for customers to play while visiting and a bowling shuffle board. It's a place you can spend an entire day at. I love the vibe of this place. It's so fun to be able to use your tap card to pour your own beer or create a custom flight. I highly recommend checking it out ; you won't be...
