My husband and I ordered their Old Yorker and Western NY’er paninis. We agreed that we enjoyed the Old Yorker more. It was delicious! It kind of tastes like a Philly Cheesesteak. I do wish they provided more of the side sauce that came with it; it was really just a couple of drops of sauce in the container it came in, which was not enough. Hopefully that’ll change in the future, as that sauce was delicious and it compliments the panini.
I also got their large size Cappuccino- I subbed it with almond milk and requested 2 pumps of sugar-free vanilla syrup (thankful for those options) and one pump of regular white chocolate syrup. I’m used to getting 3 pumps of syrup in large hot coffee at other places, where I can still taste some of the coffee. However, the 3 pumps of syrup here completely masked the flavor of coffee and all I tasted was syrup. Not their fault- just letting ya’ll know each pump may be “heavy”.
We couldn’t ignore their tasty looking sweets. For dessert, we got their coffee crumble cake slice. It was yummy but I should have asked for it warmed up.
The ambience of this place is very warm and comforting. The exterior is very pretty and cute! Perfect for hanging out with friends or on a date. Not to mention the restroom has a few stalls and was clean. I...
Read moreI gave it 3 stars because they have potential and I know they can do better, I have eaten here in the past and the food, portions and service was much better. We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches bacon egg and cheese on an English muffin and bacon egg and cheese on Salt Rising bread ( The 86er) 7.00 + tx each. What we got was unrecognizable when the waitress brought it to our table asking if it was ours we sent it back because it did not look like what we ordered after walking up to the counter and inquiring where our food was we realized that was ours, both sandwiches were only 1/2 inch thick and very small and tasted burnt an English muffin or two slices of bread to make a sandwich generally would be more than 1/2 inch thick now add egg cheese and bacon to it. I am hoping this was just a fluke, or maybe with the price of food going up they refused to raise their prices so they cut back on ingredients. See the pictures posted. The phone on the left of the Salt Rising bread sandwich for perspective. The one in my hand sure doesn't look like a sandwich on an...
Read moreVery good food (86-er but on everything bagel, and a favorite chip brand from my home state). The cheese wasn't as impressive as I thought it would be, but hey, it was good and cheesy and better than American. Loved the peppermint patty frozen latte. Unfortunately, plenty of customers were unmasked or improperly masked. (An uncovered nose defeats the purpose.) With how narrow the store is to get back to the bathroom, I wish there had been better crowd control. I had to cut through a group of guys, apparently regulars/friends, none of whom had masks. But there is plenty of outdoor seating which worked great for me once I got my food. I'll...
