The 3 of us went for breakfast, They have a nice menu selection which isn't seen much anymore. We were seated and waited on rather quickly, put our orders in, took about 1/2 hr to get our food, they mixed up my sons and hubs orders but wasn't a really big deal, they both had omlettes, with hashbrowns and toast just diff fillings, they said there's were ok, mine on the other hand not so much, I ordered the "lakeshore" which consisted of 2 eggs, hashbrowns, ham, sausage and bacon with side of pancake or toast. all our food was brought out at the same time, but mine was lukewarm, to say the least. The butter on the pancake wouldn't even melt. the eggs were cooked nicely(overeasy) hasbrowns barely cooked, the sausage is the pre cooked kind that I personally hate, gave one to my son, he didn't like them either, the bacon was thin and narrow, had an odd taste (old in my opinion) again didn't eat most of it, the only redeeming thing was the ham slice, that was actually really good. We may try again in the future. Maybe the lunch or supper would be better. UPDATE: WE WENT BACK LAST WEEKEND TO GIVE THIS PLACE ANOTHER TRY. UNFORTUNATELY WE WILL NOT BE BACK. I had the Philadelphia burger and hubs had the reuben, both were so lackluster , no seasoning, there is no choice in burger size, you get what you get, so flattened to try to fit the massive bun, you could barely taste the burger itself, and just plain blah. the reuben looks like they had pre frozen the meat/cheese and thawed in the microwave and put on toasted bread. again, no flavor. hubs was very disappointed! both came with a pickle and fries in a silver cup..prefer mine just on the plate. they were ok, just pre prized bagged fries. he had the chix dumpling soup, was ok, pretty sure the type that comes in the bag pre made. no one came to refill our drinks until we were 3/4 done. unfortunately, we left feeling very unsatisfied. It would have been better off going to the fast food place. we tried this place twice, and both was a bust, we...

Am sorry to report that this visit was a disappointment. The fruit salad I ordered had a variety of fruit but with the majority of it consisting of cantalope that was not ripe which made it inedible and the raisin toast was very hard as well, too long in the toaster I presume. Our previous visits here were a lot better, so I would probably return to give this place one more try in the future. My fiance ordered the fish fry which consisted of only the serving of fish and potatoes and a serving of soup, but no salad or roll included. He had to ask for some coleslaw. On a previous visit for a fish fry there was bread and coleslaw in addition to the soup and choice of potato so not sure if they have changed their menu or why it was not included this time. Our waitress was difficult to understand and I am not hard of hearing and the waitress at the next booth was giving her customers a sermon with her service which was a bit of a turn off for both them and us, didn't feel it...

Worst food I’ve ever had.. French fries on point ok ... the tortilla soup was sweet thick and had an over abundance of nutmeg in it and lacked tortilla and had a whole bay leaf in it ... the salad you so could tell was old even had wilted leaves in it... now my date had the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo.. her noodles were over cooked and the shrimp were over cooked the Alfredo sauce was separating and tasted like it was microwaved... now I had the baked mostaccioli it was definitely not baked the noodles were over cooked and the gravy was sweet nor did it even resemble baked mostaccioli... as we first walked in the sign said wait to be seated n it was pretty slow in here.. we waited for 10 min then for some guy to hand us the menus and silverware and said the booth over their talk about service mise well of said hey seat yourself... i wouldn’t feed this food to my dog we should of gone...

This is a nice little gem of a restaurant right in Wautoma. I can’t help but get the chicken fettuccine alfredo mostly every time because it’s so good. The amount of food you get for the price is just the cherry on top. Everything is very affordable and I like the huge variety their menu offers. The breakfast is so good too! Everything tastes very authentic country home style cooking. This is definitely our spot for years to come. Oh and they have the good Ranch dressing LOL.
