Update Review. Did take out of Large Roast Pork Fried Rice last night. Ordered extra veggies ($1.50 extra). This was by far the worst Fried Rice I’ve ever eaten. The rice kernels were so dried out many of them were crispy. The rice was fried with so much soy sauce the whole dish was dark brown (very unappealing). See the picture. The extra veggies were good, except if I hadn’t ordered them, there would have been nearly nothing. There was no fried egg in the rice. Lastly, the pieces of pork were so small you could hardly see them, let alone taste them. (See the size of the pieces at the top of the plate in the picture!). I consider this really a waste of $10.75 (+ tax). I do intend to speak to the owner as I’m super disappointed.

It was Cash Only so be prepared it’s a small family owned place. Deal with it complainers! Ordered the large shrimp in lobster sauce with extra snow peas and mushrooms, also chicken with vegetables with extra snow peas. Total with tax was $26 and it was very good. 9 large shrimp in the lobster sauce made to order. Chicken with tons of veggies in a brown sauce. Generous portions and fresh veggies. Very good value. Needs a little more seasoning for my tastes but for Wautoma this is a great find! Bravo!

For people complaining about having to wait, please call your order in ahead of time. This is 99% carry out and on tourist weekends, they get very busy. As one reviewer complained, the restaurant was empty. Well duh there are two chairs...

Bad place to order takeout!!!! I went there, ordered Moi Goo Gai Pan to go. It was supposed to have snow peas (the main reason I ordered that), got home and found out there were NONE! I called to complain and they said they were out of snow peas. I asked why they didn't say that when I ordered? She again just said they were out of snow peas. They substituted carrots, which is the only flavor I can taste right now. Tastes bad but don't have time to drive back into town. Poor way of doing business!

I posted the above review after my previous meal there. After 2 months I thought it would only be fair to give them another chance. After asking to make sure they weren't "out" of snow peas, I ordered the same meal as last time - a LARGE order of Moo Goo Gai Pan. I again looked at the picture they display of this dish that shows a decent amount of snow peas. I took my meal home, opened it, and was again struck by the number of carrots immediately visible. Fearing the worst, I actually emptied the container onto a plate and counted the number of pea pods, There were FIVE. At least based on the excessive amount of carrots (which are MUCH, MUCH cheaper than snow peas), my night vision should improve a lot, though my skin might turn orange. Needless to say, in my case it's TWO strikes and you're out! I'd rather drive 20 or 30 miles to have GOOD...

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! If I could give it no stars I would!

I was up the the Wild Rose area closing the family cottage for winter. After I got done I had a craving for "Chinese food". So I Googled it, and found Panda in Wautoma. How this place got 4 stars BOGGLES MY MIND! I am from the Milwaukee area, and I love "Chinese food". This was by far the WORST "Chinese food" I have ever had!

I got an order of Crab Rangoon and General Tso's chicken with chicken fried rice. The Crab Rangoon tasted off, and there was NO crab in it. The General Tso's didn't taste right either. It was very bland and over cooked, almost burnt. It certainly did not taste like candy as one of the reviews clams. The fried rice had no taste, it was like eating cardboard. I sure that the paper plate I was eating off of, would have tasted better.

I feel sorry for the locals who eat here and think this is real "Chinese food". You have no idea....
