I used to love this place but something changed and I don't like them anymore . a while back I would order all the time and there would be no issues . then I ordered one day and they forgot my extra bacon no problem ordered again and forgot my bacon . the next time I ordered I came in the door and a customer and an employee were negatively talking about me almost laughing at me . then I called recently to put in a take out order which I always do and the lady said unfortunately we aren't doing take out orders right now and I said well that sucks or something like that and she said I'm sorry I said no that's okay I understand and before I could finish what I was saying she hung up on me it's the short haired lady at the front counter . today I tried calling and they won't even answer the phone . used to be a good experience now I get irritated when I even think...

I just tried this place last Saturday and it was a great experience. Our waitress was friendly, fast & efficient. The food was very good—I had a Belgian waffle which was perfectly fluffy inside and toasty on the outside, my friends ordered a Philly cheese steak omelet & the Egg Benedict special. All three of us really enjoyed our meals. This place has been open for a long time, I believe recently (past few years? I’m not really sure) it was taken over by new owners. I also wanted to add that the prices here are very reasonable, definitely cheaper than most other diners in the area. I really liked that your food didn’t automatically come with Hash browns, but you could add that for just a couple bucks. Between the food, staff, and the prices…I’m definitely looking forward to...

I stopped in here for an impromptu breakfast while my car was serviced at Romano. The friendly waiter greeted me and offered me a menu. It was a small menu, but hits all the staples of a diner breakfast. I enjoyed a short stack of blueberry pancakes and a side of freshly made strawberry rhubarb pie. The waiter and cook are both pasty chefs that make wedding cakes and bake all their desserts. My pancakes and pie were delicious, and I have no complaints. The atmosphere was pleasant, while small and cramped, the regulars there had interesting conversations with the staff that had me chuckling. It wasn’t a 5-star blowout experience, but pleasant and likely my go-to next time I’m stuck waiting...

The redwood diner is a favorite. Family run, classic 1950s diner, with no frills decor - red bar stools, checkered floors- takes you back in time to its roots. Don’t let its understated looks fool you - the food is excellent, and at a good price. Fresh ingredient diner food without all the grease hiding the flavor like you might get from a lot of places. I recommend the chopped cheese omelet with Spanish home fries if you’re feeling a little something different, it’s like a cheeseburger for breakfast. Lots of omelets to choose from though - there’s one for everyone. If you’re looking for sweet, the French toast or blueberry pancakes won’t disappoint. If you haven’t been I suggest you stop in!

Found this place while looking for breakfast spots on Google. It had good reviews so we decided to try it. Not really sure where the reviews came from but my husband and I were far from impressed. Aside of the place being small and rather unclean the food wasn’t good at all. Greasy and flavorless. Cheapest ingredients available. Pancakes were thick but pasty like biscuick. Canned mushrooms in the Fretta which was seriously lacking. I love hot sauce on my Fretta and even that sucked like they use some cheap brand, it was almost sweet. Service was friendly but not accommodating. Didn’t check on us or ask if we needed anything else. Unfortunately we wouldn’t return.

I'm from out of town about an hour away, but after my awesome experience today, I will be making that drive again with friends to eat here. SYRACUSE'S BEST HIDDEN GEM! The customer service was amazing. You can see that many regulars were enjoying breakfast early in the morning, I was at the bar listening to the cook and the sever interacting and showing true care to customers. Engaged in conversation, attentive. Now the food put it over! The texture, temperature, taste, and presentation were all 10/10. This place needs to be on Diners Drive Ins & Dives it's that good. Thanks for a great experience! Leaving there, I felt like I made two new friends! 🤍🤞🏽
