We wanted to enjoy this meal so badly but were super disappointed. The cheese plate was good but the price was ridiculous for something i could easily create at home. It was status quo not inventive. The salad was watery and the blue cheese had little taste. We did notice that lettuce was fresh and would have Been delicious with better dressing and less water… The salmon tar tar was flavorless. The tacos were ok. Not bad but not special. We stopped ordering food due to how disappointed we were and for how big our tab was getting despite how unenjoyable the food was. Everything about Rooted is excellent. We decided to try it on a whim and we are all so glad that we did! The dining area is sleek and simple yet has a warm and classy feel to it. We didn't have a reservation but the staff was welcoming and found us a table right away- we were there pretty early in the evening (6:00ish) and it got busier about an hour after we arrived. The server was really friendly and the food was outstanding.
