Tasta Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Ellicott

I used to go here often but lately the place has really become poor. They always mess up my sub and pizza orders. I won't return because the final straw was on Father's day, I had people over and they messed up the chicken wing order. Guests who didn't know what I ordered fixed a plate and after people started eating I noticed the kind of wing was wrong. I called and explained to them the problem and they suggested I bring the wings back and they would replace them. I told them people had already started eatimg and they said oh sorry and blamed me for not ordering correctly. Thet put me on hold and came back and apologized because they handed me someone else's order. They were kind of giggling to each other and asked me if I wanted to speak to a manager, they were encouraging it! I declined because I was sick of arguing on the phone instead of being at the Father's day party I was hosting. A few of the staff members are friendly and others not so much. The quality of food has declined since I started eating there...

The food is overall good. It’s not anything super special. And the prices are not the cheapest for the quality of food.

The dining area is big enough to fit a decent number of people and is overall nice. There are a bunch of televisions though so that can be distracting.

My biggest complaint is they won’t give you a cup of tap water for free, that’s ridiculous and bad customer service. It doesn’t cost them anything or drive up their water bill. And if you can’t have carbonated drinks they should not force you to buy a bottle of water. If their able to sell beer from kegs and have a soft drink machine they can definitely provide a customer with a glass of tap water. As well with the amount of traffic they get on Main Street in falconer they definitely make enough to give a free glass of water. I will not be dining here again until...

So I heard good things about this pizza place, and I was eager to try something new as I am only in town for a few weeks. So I ordered a supreme (half) large pizza and 20 wings medium plus 10 wings mild and I was actually very impressed at the pizza. Looked great, smelled great, But it kind of left a weird impression on my stomach. We ate 4 slices and then tossed the pizza.

The wings however were less desirable. Almost no sauce on them, no sauce in the bottom of the container (just a smidge of sauce and oil). So in other words they were fairly dry.

And I have to say for $65 for a pizza and 30 wings that seem like a little bit of highway robbery but I do understand that chicken wing prices are currently crazy at this time.

So buyer beware but I will never order a pizza...
