This is the best Chinese in the Chautauqua area. The buffets here are disgusting, and no other Chinese place Compares. And to the fool who said they need better customer service, you're probably some rich prissy flame anyways. They're actually real Chinese people, would you rather have some fat white guy make you "Chinese" food? As far as customer service goes it's great and here's why ; one time I ordered chicken chow mein thinking I ordered chicken lo mein "noodles." When I got home and went to eat what I was expecting to be noodles, I opened the container and saw something that looked like something my dog ate from my backyard and puked up in a container. So i went back and asked why I didn't get what I ordered and the lady nicely said, " no no no no you orda wong ting!!" And she gladly Took back my bucket of dog puke and gave me the noodles I had wanted in the first place free of charge! These guys are awesome. Just make sure you know what you're ordering before you order otherwise you might hear " no no no no you orda...
Read moreOverall, this is a normal Chinese restaurant with birthmark flavors. You'll not find odd dishes or exotic flavors. Borders on the mundane but it is a safe bet to go to eat here.
Not set in overhead and fancy it is the working man's lunch. Dad raised me to be a solid citizen and as far as eateries this fits that bill. Good solid food. Enough for a medium sized appetite. And plenty for the smaller tummies.
Though there is always a communication gap, for the most part, I was understood. But don't call there unless that is all your ordering, off the menu. I tried to locate my list phone and they thought I wanted to make an order. The confusion came when they asked us ( my friends phone on speaker) something and we thought they were asking us what we ordered, but I'm the end, she confirmed we were ordering the same menu items as our lunch order. Not quite.
Overall, a luncheon spot to...
Read moreI ordered the sweet and sour chicken for my dinner and the Gen Tso for my lunch the next day. This has to be the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The chicken pieces in both dishes were all breading surrounding a tiny piece of chopped or cubed chicken. And when I say tiny I mean appropriately 1/8" cubed. About the same size as what they put in their fried rice. It really looked like the chicken pieces were bought from a discount dollar store and thrown in some generic sauce. The General Tso didn't even have any flavor and had the same look and taste as the sweet and sour. The only bright spot was my wife ordered Kung Pao Chicken. She liked that. The service was lackluster at best. Not the worst I've seen, but nothing to brag about either. Prices were less than the other Chinese restaurants in town, but I think I know why. I will not be returning to...
