Subway — Restaurant in Jamestown

There's a positive and negative to this review. Let it start out with when this location took new ownership. I can agree with the other review that they did skimp out on what they gave you, I will also add that has changed. I can honestly say that they make some of the best subs in the area. They've got a pretty good atmosphere, it completely depends on who's there. There's one person in particular who has the best service and I believe he's the owners son. No onto the owners, I've never had an issue with the husband but his wife ALWAYS gives me problems when I go to redeem points for a sub. If you go to redeem points you will be hassled by her. She does NOT want to let a sub go for free. She always asks me if I go to other subways or why she doesn't see me and I don't spend money there. In all honesty that is the problem. I've seen numerous customers walk out leaving their food behind because she would NOT redeem their points. Now unless I'm misunderstood, they have to honor the points system since they participate in it. Sadly I can only give two stars and only due to their best workers Parth, and Lloyd. First off, let it be known that I am a regular patron of Subway in various cites. I have always taken advantage of the fact that you can get a good quality and quantity of food at a decent price regardless of locale. That being said...I found the exception. This was my first time in this establishment. While ordering my sub, they completely skimped on every single topping I asked for, even after repeatedly asking them for more. I purchased a footlong turkey breast sub...pretty standard, right? Once it got to the toppings, I received one small, thin, handful of lettuce, about 6 pieces of chopped onion, about 5 pieces of chopped green pepper, maybe 4 pickle slices and 4 banana pepper slices, and one thin stripe of mayo. The employee then started to fold it up and cut it as I was still asking for addition toppings (salt & pepper, oil/vinegar etc). The manager grumbled something when I handed him a $1.00 off coupon and my subway card, scanned them, handed them back, and walked away. Good thing there are other Subway restaurants in the area...I guess I will be going to...

My boyfriend stopped at this location to pick up dinner for us. I had looked at the menu online to decide what I wanted and chose a turkey wrap. When my boyfriend went to order he was told they “don’t make wraps” anymore, only flatbread sandwiches. Online they had a whole section showing the new wraps they were selling and the classic. Even the menu board in this restaurant has a whole section labeled “Clubs and Wraps”. The man who helped my boyfriend was rude, and his only answer continuously was “we don’t make wraps.” I would include the employees name, but he did not have a name tag on. Included is a photo of the menu board, where you can clearly see wraps are on the menu. No where in the store was any sign or postage that wraps were no longer on the menu or no longer being offered.
