Savastano's Bakery & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Gates

A+++ amazingly authentic and unique mini pizzas and just as good as the product(maybe even better) was the nice dark haired lady with glasses smile as she invited me in like i was family! she works with an authentic service purpose which is hard to come by these days.

i remember as a kid my Zia Maria on Trolly Blvd would buy mini pizzas for my cousins and I. as soon as i bit into the pizza this morning the memories came back! just as good as when i was a kid,maybe even a bit better with the bottom undercarriage offerings nice crunch “a la one bite everyone knows the rules.” absolutely no flop and the star of the show was the red sauce which was EXACTLY i remember as a child in the 80s. the consistency of Savastanos is amazing.

oh yeah, there authentic italian olive bar is literally HALF the price of Wegmans $5.99 instead of $10 per pound.

They have the cutest mini pizzas! I think I had the size up from the mini pizza, the crust was so fresh and soft. I also had some almond cookies too! They didn't make it home with me I ordered 5 cookies. Lol, the pizza is a nice treat I purchased 8 in two days. I could eat them daily. I'll try their wings soon and subs. Everything looks so good on the menu. The customer service is great, please give them a try if your in the area. It's definitely worth it!

Edit 3.28.2024- Still going to Savastano's and they are still dishing out great food and service! . I go when I can and it's always a treat. Just found out they do a special price on the family pizza 2 days a week that I know of. Love it, tastes great and a great deal!. And I just had the pleasure of buying a ricotta chocolate chip pie. OMG. So good!! It was almost gone in less than 24 hours when I brought it home. Lol. Thank you for great food and sweets! Awesome service always friendly and kind...

We chose to use Savastanos for a catering need on Saturday. It was the best decision we made. We had a certain budget we had to follow and Linda did just that for our family. She did not try to upsell us anything or offer us more than we needed. We went with Sauce with mini meatballs, roasted red potatoes, baked chicken and sausage peppers and onions. Everything was delicious!!! If you want sauce like your Nana makes I suggest you order from Linda. The flavor of everything brought me back to being a little girl at our Nanas house on a Sunday. We also order our pizza and wings from Savastanos on pizza night in our house and it is the best pizza in town, not to mention their Italian cookies are amazing!! Thank you to Linda and the entire Savastano family for making us feel like family and delivering such authentic quality food to us. Stay safe...
