I don't visit Grand Island often but this was worth the trip for sure. The food, service, and atmosphere were great.
We ordered pork sandwich, chicken sandwich, strawberry matcha drink, and an iced coffee drink. The sandwiches were very high quality. The meat was cooked perfectly. The veggies and peppers were fresh. It would be hard to top this. The drinks were also tasty. The strawberry matcha has a nice layering of flavors. The iced coffee was solid as well.
The service was nice. You order at the counter then get your food and drinks when it's ready. The guy taking the order was friendly.
I like the atmosphere of the place. They have a nice sectional couch that we sat on. The colors of the room is bright and upbeat. We came a little bit after it opened on a Saturday and were pretty much the only ones in the restaurant for almost the whole duration of our stay so I'm not too confident on how long they'll be able to stay open.
If you're a fan of banh mi or just want to try something new like Vietnamese sandwiches, I highly recommend...
Read moreLet me start off with opening days are always a little rough but I was so impressed by this place! The food was by far my favorite thing. The pork was tender and well seasoned. The rice was amazing paired with fresh cucumbers, carrots, and radish.
I tried 2 drinks, strawberries and cream then tiger tea I believe. Unfortunately, when I got my first drink there was no popping boba but when I told the young man working the counter, he provided me with some boba on the side after stating they did not have strawberry boba as the menu said was included. The tiger drink was amazing, but the tapioca pearls might not have been as done as the first ones.
Despite that I find that I am excited to see the seasonal flavors and to try their menu once more. It's a learning curve and I don't blame them one bit, and look forward to the continued improvement of this...
Read moreall about supporting small businesses but today's visit was total chaos. I watched the young man (cashier) struggle taking orders AND making drinks. Watched him go to the back kitchen and ask for help. A guy came out and told him to take his time. I saw a young lady spend more time catering to family and friends but never ensuring the other customers were taken care of. I'm sure your food is fantastic but today's opening day they needed two people at the front desk - one taking orders and the other making the drinks- instead we saw one overworked young man strugling and another walking around making small talk while her co- worker struggled. It wasnt until the young man accumulated a stack of orders before she started to help....
