Herbie's Burgers — Restaurant in Town of Guilderland

This review is about the Guilderland location. I'm so mad I could spit nails. It's Saturday evening and I placed an order at 8:05pm. Their posted hours according to Google are until midnight. I drove 14 miles/20 minutes to this location to pick up my food, which according to my confirmation email would be ready at 8:26pm. I arrived at 8:30 only to find the door locked. There were 2 ladies inside doing whatever. I knocked on the door. Nobody even looked at me. I knocked again and one of the ladies turned and looked at me, completely ignored me and turned back around. So I knocked again and this time the other lady turned around, looked at me and started making the cut motion at her throat, then went back to her business. Knocked again. Same lady, same thing again with the throat. So I put my hands in the air and yelled "I have an order" as she just kept sawing at her throat. So I yelled it again. Louder. Finally she comes to the door all disgusted looking and opened it a crack and rudely said "We're closed." Once again I told her I had an order. Her rude response was "We have no orders. We're closed." I told her I was charged for it. She said "You'll have to contact the third party you ordered through," and then shut the door in my face. Now I sit here at 8:45pm with no food, out $20 dollars, 20 minute drive back home for nothing. GAS. TIME. ENERGY. I'm so pissed. And then to be ignored and not even get friendly service or explanation of any kind. I can't stand most people most...

Worst experience ever. When ordering I asked what was the sauce that goes on the loaded fries the lady said a mixture of ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc.. its good... I said ok.. I will take a large .. she stated Ok. When I came back to pick up my order I only had 1 bag... I asked if the fries where in there .. she said what fries... I said with that sauce we talked about.. she said so nasty... that conversation never happened !!.. I said what.. yea it did... I asked for fries.. she said .. you did not... I said wow.. really? She said yea... you never ordered fries..I said I did so.... I'm like in what business do you start an argument with a customer instead of solving the problem. I ordered the 2 most expensive burgers and fries on your menu. I try to frequent local businesses in the area and they all end up being racist. This is what I get when working with untrained, unprofessional, entitled staff. The burgers were horrible, fried to the max and well well well well done. Let's not even talk about the bacon... it just cumpled to pieces...smh... The milkshake was just straight Vitamin D milk no flavor.... you will get a better burger at 5Guys!! The straight nastiness I received is not...

So before I dive right in let me explain I try to try places a couple times when they are new before I leave a review, cause new businesses are always working things out. This was now my third time eating here and I’m glad they fixed a lot of the issues. Burgers now jam packed with flavor and juicier than before with it still being a smash burger. The fries have stepped up their game to from being soggy and no salt to crispy and crunchy with a good bite back. (Was a little too salted for my liking but taste is subjective) bang up job!!! Very pleased will be back worthy of the 5 star rating. But to the people that wish to dine here understand the prices are higher cause it’s real food not fast food!!! If you want better quality from your dollar this is the place. If you are looking for quantity for you buck go to any fast food spot, but forewarned you well be missing out on one of the top burger spots in...
