Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Town of Guilderland

I’ve been coming to this Jimmy John’s for a long time on my lunch break. The food is excellent! And up until recently the service was also excellent. I’m not sure what happened (I totally get that they could just be short staffed or have newer employees - I worked in fast food so I have empathy if that’s simply the case) but this location used to run like a well oiled machine but it isn’t lately. I would order as I left work and it would be ready by the time I drove there (5-10min) but lately I’ve been waiting 15-20 minutes or more for orders and notice a huge line backing up. Also, when I customize the sandwich and add bacon for example it’s like a 50/50 whether I’ll get what I ordered.

Only reason I’m giving this feedback is because I like this place and I want to see it do well. It could also just be busier than usual! Not knocking the employees it’s just constructive criticism for the management, who are ultimately accountable for...

I bought a huge order and it was a disappointment. Got these sandwiches and my moms came out wrong only 2 slices of ham on one side. I paid for a giant and we got basically a regular sandwich. This is my go to spot but I don’t think I want to return. I paid so much money and they couldn’t get the sandwich right nor did they give me my 2 whole pickles that my friend ordered at the register. Tried to give compensation with I can make a new one but you have to come and get it. If it was done right the first time and actually given all the items with the order at pick up then I wouldn’t have to drive to go pick it up. My customer offered to buy and pickup lunch for me so I figured I would try jimmy johns fo the first time. Well I didn’t know what to expect but this is what I got...I ordered a #8 Billy Club ( roast beef, ham, provolone, Dijon, lettuce, tomato, mayo with onion and banana peppers. What I received was a sandwich with 3 slices of banana peppers, 2 tiny slices of onion, no lettuce and no Dijon. I called and they apologized....ok great...so you can suck at your job and an apology for being incompetent is what you will get. Stick to the mom and pop deli with better bread and better ingredients. That’s my 2 cents. Fortunately that’s all they got from me since my client payed. I will never go back under any circumstances!
