Here's the thing: the food is delicious and fresh and the owners and employees are very friendly, BUT the food is waaaaayyyyyyy too spicy. I realize that I'm a wyt person from North Rockland, but I have a sophisticated palate and a high tolerance for heat. The first time I ordered I chose "spice level 2" and it was too hot to finish. I threw most of it away! That has literally never happened to me before, including during the significant amount of time I've spent in Thailand and other countries that typically add a lot of heat to their cuisine.The second time I chose "spice level 1" and it was perfect. I’ve dined at Thai Cafe 88 on multiple occasions and can confidently say it’s the best Thai food in Rockland! The food was not only incredibly delicious but also tasted exceptionally fresh. Every dish was clearly crafted with high-quality ingredients, giving it a rich and authentic flavor.

I can’t say enough good things about this Thai restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that transport you straight to Thailand. Every dish is cooked to perfection, from the rich curries to the fresh, zesty salads and perfectly spiced stir-fries.
