Beni’s Trattoria — Restaurant in Town of Haverstraw

No doubt Beni's makes top-notch food, but why so stingy with the fresh mushrooms as a pie topping? There were maybe six thin slices of a single mushroom. Outrageous. Now I have taken my business to Pizzarena in Stony Point. Much better. Also terrible is Three Boys Pizza in West Haverstraw, in the shopping center that used to have the Stop and Shop. I ordered a Margherita pie and there was no cheese on roughly half the pie! And no fresh basil, either. The owner defended that by saying it got burnt in the oven and people didn't like it. That shows you that he doesn't know what he's doing, because the fresh basil goes on after the pie is taken from the oven. Don't waste your time. Go...

My daughter and I had a wonderful dinner tonight at Beni’s. Our waitress, EZRA was friendly and very attentive. Our dinners, Cavatelli and broccoli with chicken and the fruttii Di mara with white sauce were absolutely delicious. Also really enjoyed their homemade bread with a nice olive oil for dipping. I also come here for lunch and have never been disappointed the cold heroes, hot-heroes ,wraps and Panini’s Are always good in a real value for your money. Have been a customer many years and I have to say it is just not the same quality food. Tried many different dishes on different days and the are just ok. I made a complaint of an order that was wrong according to their menu selection and the girl just said that’s the way it is. Like too bad buddy attitude. No sorry or come by and we will make it to what is on their menu. Thank you Beni for the years...
