I gave this place 3 chances before deciding to write a negative review.
1st visit: ordered chicken karahi and sesame naan. Chicken was so hard that we couldn't even break it apart without biting hard on it. Sesame naan were the best. (But your specialty is karahi not naan)
2nd visit: called ahead to order 15 sesame naan. I was told it will take 30 mins. I told them you can take 45 mins but make sure i dont have to wait. When i got there 50 mins after placing the order, I was greeted by screaming and cursing staff with each other in the kitchen saying "the owner keeps taking order on his cell offsite, he is not even in restaurant and doesn't know how busy we are" then one employee finally comes out and says it will take another 15 mins. In total i had to wait extra 1hr standing inside the restaurant along with screaming customers just to pick up 15 sesame naan.
3rd visit: I called 8 times on the number listed on google which is a cell number that no one was answering. I drove to this location and waited 7mins before a staff member came to counter from the back. I told them i was trying to call from 1hr with no one answering and the staff member told me the owner has the cell with him who is not here today and i should have called the landline number (which is not listed anywhere online as off today) then i placed an order for 10 sesame naan and was told the cook is not here either at the moment and we cant make naan. So why are you even open? I left and got a call from the cell number 1hr later... " hello i had a miss call, ahhh who is this? Its karahi house, oh yea its already too late I..... and he hanged up... didnt even bother letting me finish or atleast apologize... didnt even call back so i know it wasnt the network issue.
Wrong way to open up and start a new business when we have so many other choices in town and around town. As a business owner I understand the difficulties we come across and that its a learning experience when we open and start and new business, but atleast one thing thats in our own hand is customer service. Thats something you can fix right away. Dont be rude to customers, staff needs to stop screaming and cursing, and lets work on karahi because thats your specialty not naan. Yes the sesame naan are the best. But not sure if i will visit again since we have other choices few blocks down. By the way im one person who hardly leaves a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my second time coming here, the first time was very good- our food was very flavorful. Today was the second time Iāve been here and Iāve never been so disappointed in a restaurant. I never ever leave reviews and have never left a bad review so you can understand how bad it was. The service was so so bad. We came in, ordered our food, we ordered our appetizers, chai and then our dinner all at once. The salad came out and while we were eating it we found a cut rubber band in the salad which is a little gross but sometimes accidents happen! So not that big of a deal. Anyways, weāre waiting and our food comes and it is literally all bone. We got the goat kirahi and of course goat has bone but there was barely any meat- completely different than the last time we were there. Not only that, we ask if we can get our chai now and he says in a minute. Well we eat all our food (the little we had) and the chai And the appetizers didnāt even come until after we were done eating. How does the dinner come before the appetizers? we were there 1 1/2 hours and we didnāt get our drinks until we were leaving.. Iām very disappointed because I hyped this place up for my family and everyone ended up really disappointed. I donāt mind waiting for good food, but when you wait so long for scraps and bad service it isnāt worth it. We told the guy our disappointment, being respectful about it and he just ignored us. I donāt think I will ever come back, maybe sometime in the future I may give it another chance but I donāt think anytime soon. EDIT: I appreciate the owner replying to my review which I honestly didnāt expect, it takes a lot to take responsibility and Iām sure it was just a bad day because as I said before the first time I went I had a good time, so Iām going to give it...

The restaurantās ambiance itās a little off but it a perfect balance between casual dining and cultural richness, adorned with traditional decor we ate there tonight on the first night of Ramadan looking to enjoy classic Pakistani South Asian Indian food. Upon entering, the welcoming staff immediately sets the tone for the owners wife I believe/owner a delightful was absolutely delightful. The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of traditional dishes that cater to diverse palates. The star of the show at Butt Karahi House is undoubtedly their namesake dish, the Karahi. The curry was absolutely amazing. Flavors were great each flavor hit every note on my taste buds. I felt like I was transported to Lahore. I was sadly disappointed they didnāt have lamb that tonight because I wanted to try. Lamb Karahi but the goat curry must-try, cooked to perfection with aromatic spices, tender meat, and a rich, flavorful gravy that pairs beautifully with their freshly baked naan. Drinks: Donāt skip out on their range of traditional beverages; the Mango Lassi is refreshing and wonderfully balanced. Overall Experience: Butt Karahi House not only serves delicious food but also offers a glimpse into South Asian culinary traditions. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served, making it a great spot for family dinners or gatherings with friends. The casual yet vibrant atmosphere adds to the overall experience, making it a go-to destination for both locals and...
