Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

SEPTEMBER 29th 2024 I service pools for a living, closing season has starting and I have been out since 7am. It’s 3pm. I am in Merrick, on Merrick Ave and stopped into the Dunkin’ Donuts 🍩 to simply use the bathroom and maybe reup on coffee. There were 2 employees working, and 3 customers in the store INCLUDING me. The bathrooms were locked, so I requested permission from one of the employees. I waited 15 minutes for the door to be unlocked, which it ultimately was. She waved me to go in. Upon entering I see dirty toilet paper strewn across the entire floor, the toilet full to the top with water, paper and feces and that’s not the worst part. There was a human shit right in front of the toilet, where your feet would normally be if you were sitting down. I’m absolutely disgusted that is 10 feet away from peoples food. Never will return to this location. Expected much more in this area. It’s a literal biohazard. They looked at me with a deer in headlights look on their face when I came running out the bathroom to tell them and just continued to help customers. I’m disgusted. You’ve...

So I live near by and I come there every once in awhile, I always get rude employees every time I come in ( idk names no name tags but it’s usually females working there that are acting like this, haven’t had a problem with the male employees as of yet. either first ignoring me for a few minutes while I stand at the cashier counter, When I ask questions About a menu item they give me attitude, roll eyes sighing heavily… I understand Not having a good day at work once in a while But it’s every time with these people. They change employees a lot so I suppose they don’t like the job but getting bad service this many times at the same place is crazy, at this point rather drive farther to the merrick road location. Waited at the baskin robins counter with a friend for a good 5 mins before being served when no one else was in the store. The worker finally served my friend first and obviously saw me with her waiting in line. She took my friend to the Dunkin’ Donuts counter to pay and when my friend finished paying she didn’t return for another good 5 mins, still no one else in the store. Instead she decided to have a full on conversation with another worker outloud which included some cursing. When she finally did decide to serve me I asked for a medium chocolate shake. She responded with “the chocolate is too hard for a shake.” Yet waiting in the parking lot after my purchase, I watched a group of people walk out of the same store with chocolate shakes.
