Gino's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Me and my whole family have been coming here & ordering from Gino’s for years. Unfortunately we will not be supporting this business anymore due to how the manager deals with his customers. I do not recommend anyone spend their money here as you will not be valued as a customer anyway. The food is good but the attitude that the manager exudes will surely cause you to lose your appetite as it did with mine. He needs better customer service skills and over all better people skills. I have always ordered from Gino’s for over 10 + years, all of a sudden today I ordered and they did not want to deliver to my address saying they don’t deliver to Queens , I asked since when and they said they never did, however upon checking the system they saw I ordered to my house last in 2022I have been out of the country and just returned back home. I was wondering what has changed since then and why they cannot deliver being that I am only 1.8 miles away( 7 mins) , the manager then took the phone and accused me of being a liar , and that they never delivered to my house although the person prior to told me when they last delivered. I would have been willing to pick up the pizza however the manager’s attitude and false accusations of me being a “liar” just completely turned me off. If this is how a business deals with their customers I definitely will not be supporting it. Luckily there’s always Gaby’s pizza which has never failed me yet ( Gaby’s is actually farther but they have no issue delivering to me.) Overall , Gino’s has the WORST CUSTOMER...

I ate there on Saturday night ordered a regular pie half with sausage they brought it to the table and the sausage on top was not even cooked the young man who brought the pizza to my table said I would not eat that, the guy who cooked it said the sausage was cooked which it was obvious he put the sausage on top of the pizza after the pizza was cooked, as the sausage was cold. I also ordered a fried calamari aribata which is made with cherry hot peppers I have ordered this dish at this location at least 20 times there was not one cherry hot pepper it just had there regular sauce. I have been a customer for 12 years and I called the manager on Sunday he was so rude and wanted to know what the purpose of the call was what a joke never going back. I pray this was not the manager or owner as he was really disgusting on the phone NO respect I would stay away from this place as they are there a long time and feel its ok to disrespect there customers.

Many of these posts comment on how bad ownership and management are. They only thank customers who leave positive reviews. They really need to look in the mirror when you call them with a problem and not curse at you and disrespect you because you are pointing out an issue. No doubt food is good most of the time, but ownership and management have NO respect for there customers.

Same old story management is terrible such negative reviews with ownership and management.

There is nothing to like about Gino's pizza! The pizza tastes like cardboard, and 90% of the time, it's burnt! Either they are too cheap to make quality pizza or they are trying to mass produce the pizza and they just don't care. The sauce tastes bland and disgusting and there is hardly enough cheese on their pizzas. I also got the racist vibe from them.. Thought I was the only one. They rush you out the door or they ignore you. Two nights in a row, and I have given up on them. There are teens who run the register, so of course their customer service skills are pretty crappy. This is the first bad review I have ever written, but I was livid with my service tonight! The young boy at the counter looked me in the face, took my order, but proceeded to assist another customer. Then when he saw me give him the eye, he finally cut my pizza, put it in the box and rung me up. So not only did the service suck, but my pizza was hard & cold!!!!! I had to warm it up at home, and it tasted like garbage! There was NO taste, and it was hard & dry! This is an indication that they use CHEAP products to make their pizzas! Cheap sauce, cheap cheese, and poorly made pizza dough! I almost went back in there and went off, but I decided to just be peaceful and walk out. Their cardboard burnt pizza was ridiculous. Even their Sicilian pizza was burnt and THIN!!! I was seriously appalled at how poor their service and pizza was. These people who are giving them good reviews clearly don't know...
