My bf ordered our family size meal on door dash and when i went to go pick it up they did not let me take the food until my bf showed me a screenshot of placing the order.. so i call my bf to do that for me while the owner or manager is basically like hawking over at me so uncomfortably. I then showed them the screenshot telling them information of our order to the T! I said what the order was, the price of it, the time for pick up was ready by 4:59pm.. and still did not want to believe it was my order!!!!?!?! I said SIR! You have my food and one other order next to it on the other side of the counter where no one can see.. i walked in confidently of the name for pick up you are going to tell me i was just magically correct of ALL Names IN THE WORLD I JUST HAPPENED TO GET THE NAME RIGHT ON THAT BAG? i went to grab my bag and said im taking my food now and he then grabbed it back. I said what more do you need from me because now at this rate im going to call the cops. Mind you im there in the beaming hot weather with my 8 year old watching all of this craziness. And he said ok i will call the cops i said on who yourself? And he then stopped. I genuinely felt like he was racist. We are Caucasian and i read reviews others also felt he was judging based on color etc. anyway, I eventually got away and took my food. I had nothing to prove to him/them. I Am Soooo disgusted with them i actually dont even want to eat the food anymore when i got home i was so nauseous looking at it and extremely unsatisfied and disappointed. Read moreMe and my friend Roseann went to this restaurant because I want it to purchase bacalao upon approaching the restaurant we decided that we wanted to sit by the window and when I pulled back the curtain see the massive amount of flies not only did I see flies the restaurant had a smell the smell is very unpleasant. But I still decided to give the restaurant a chance I say this to my friend Roseann let’s move to another table and we did when moving to another table it was even hotter it smelled even worse there were more flies but nevertheless her and I sat down waiting for waiter to approach table The waiter was not very personable the customer service was not very good but nevertheless we were still wanting to order. My friend Roseann starts to gaging because of the smell Coming from the kitchen and left out food the smell sourer. she says to me Tasha there’s no way that I can eat here she says Tasha let me go check out the kitchen area which was out in the open It was dark and they were also flies flying over the food. At that point we decided to leave the restaurant I mean it doesn’t cost them anything to keep the kitchen area clean and it does it cost them anything to hire an exterminator I would never visit this restaurant ever again. Read moreI have ordered from Lena's on several occasions, I have also ate in, and picked up my orders. Today I'm sorry to say I will no longer patronize this business. I ordered via Grub Hub and specifically asked for my rice to be separated from my roast pork; I don't eat roast pork, but still wanted the rice. I noted this in the "special instructions" section. My order was placed and when I received it, the pork, rice and beans were all in the same container. When I called, the woman I spoke with admitted that it was busy and she overlooked the note, however, the way it was ordered was like a special where they do not separate the meat from the rice. Granted, I understand, but shouldn't someone have called me. She continuously said, "sorry, we are very, very, very busy today". Let me see if I can speak with my manager. She comes back on the phone indictaing there is nothing she can do, but I bet she didn't tell him she overlooked my message. I wasn't asking for a new meal, simply a side of white rice could have remedied the situation, if not today, perhaps if I when I placed an order in the future. No matter how good the food is, poor customer service can make or break a customer. Not to mention, I had the food delivered to my house, because I'm pregnant and wasn't up to coming out in the heat only to be disappointed.
