There's a reason why I gave the food 4 stars but the service is 2.. nice place to dine. But, here's my problem, and this is not the first time. I'm a regular with this place, if you call in a order before you come, they know who's calling by name. I always get the same churrasco solo steak at $21.50, depending on who you talk to on the phone, THE PRICE WOULD CHANGE EVERY NOW AND THEN. Today it was $34.00. Now, last year we had the same problem about this place changing prices, and today which just happens to be a Saturday, we're at a crossroad once again. A young guy in there acting as a manager name Ramiro didn't think I had a receipt of how much they always charge me since last year, but I screen shot a receipt from February, and didn't have a problem with this price until now... But since he told me to bring a receipt not knowing I had one, I came there with the receipt, and now that he looked it over and saw that it was from February, now he says the prices has changed since then... Mind you, just a month ago I paid 21.50, I didn't keep the receipt since then, because I always got it for that price. But now the prices went up a whole $12.50 to $34 dollars, and this is just for the steak, not including the meal w/rice etc... This place is a rip off and there are other places who will accept your hard earned money for great food. You don't pick and choose how much you wanna charge regular customers who patronize in your establishment and know the customers by phone numbers to jack up the price on the weekend. This would've definitely been $21.50 during the week when you have just opened for business... On that note, I will not give a red cent to this establishment anymore and will take my money...
Read moreOk so keep in mind that i’ve Been eating here for over 12 years and the one thing you never think about is how important interior colors and how the lighting compliments them. Well, here, we have an absolute FAIL in what somebody there thought would be a great idea to create a hoffific rendition of a contemporary interior design. Let’s start with the Lighting. The suspended Sodium lamps are the only acceptable light source now in the place. As I was eating my delicious meal and any time I would glance up from the almost black table I was stabbed in the eyes by what I assume are Bar LED lamps over the Water table. This artificial white light and it’s intensity washes everything out and makes it feel like i’m In someone’s illegal workshop and the use of Dark paint on the Ceiling??? Looks like someone’s basement were they have Fight Clubs or turn people into Sausages. The food here is here is a 4/5. The service is always wonderful when it’s not busy and when you don’t sit on East/ right side of place(the take out line runs right between the tables). This is just another example of trying to upgrade and not having the right specialist execute the project. Also I can't stand to see servers with long hair !!! Its unsanitary!!!The waitress had the nerve to tell me that I was ordering too much food when I was with a party of 5. I am a paying customer, its not your concern how much I should and should not order . But in this situation she convinced us to order less and later had the nerve to say that she didn't charge me the $3.00 fee for sharing!!! When the bill came , we noticed at least a $1.00 increase on all entries , between the take out menus and the dine in menu. Its not like this place is a magical and life changing resturant, where the ambiance is something they feel they should charge more for. I see these increases as a hidden fees just to eat the same thing either at home or there . Why charge more for the same thing ??? When the bill came, they added the gratuity , with an additional gratuity line and the bill was incorrect. When it was time to pay the bill , I got attitude from the cashier for questioning the bill and she billed me a few cents less and she couldn't explain why I was paying less.
