Tong Kwong — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Ok, l normally try to understand certain conditions, BUT, this place is ANYTHING, but a chinese restaurant. It's true that is amazingly inexpensive, but the quality of the food is very low, no flavor, poor presentation, etc etc. Chinese food is supposed to be all about the great taste and the explosion of exotic flavors in to your mouth... ...this is not the case.

I strongly suggest the management to: Re think the menu. improve the quality of the ingredients. Find a cook.

And for the customers, avoid this place until some kind of sign is posted announcing the changes.

The food is always great the front desk help is always amazing but the driver is outrageous. Every time I give them and a good tip five dollars to three dollar just to come and deliver the food. The only problem is he never gets out the car he always stays in the car and demands for me to hurry and is rude and disrespectful. Because of that I decided not to tip him so I said no and I specifically said to the driver this will be my last time contact in the store and ordering from them. Because the driver side next time why don’t you just pick it up from the store? So I’ll start doing that instead of dealing with the rude...

I was so happy when the food came in 5 minutes, then after the first bite I see why. Chicken wings were small and shriveled. And this first Chinese place I’ve had with tasteless “honey bbq”. Food was so bad even the dogs didn’t want it. And the delivery guy calls my phone says he’s outside. I go to the door and he pulls up, beeps the horn waking up the children in the home, then proceeds to ask for a tip. Wish o would’ve tasted the food before I tipped. I will not be a return customer. I miss the old spot on S.Franklin but these...
