Mandarin Court — Restaurant in Town of Henrietta

I have gone to this restaurant for years and it was always the best out of the rest. The couple times I ordered last were awful! It will be the last time we ever order and eat from Mandarin court! The quality has gone down significantly! I’ve had several issues with food lately but just wanted to give benefit of the doubt. We ordered this week and what was supposed to be sesame chicken was nothing but breading and hard texture inside! Each one of my kids said “eww gross “ in the trash it went! The noodles lo mein were cold and tastes like reheated ! It didn’t have the small chicken pieces looked like piece fatty chicken breast was thrown in it! what really turned me off is theirs a couple of cats on premises that just sit up front and lick their mouths like just had good meal of mice! I turned around in parking lot to find an old house shack and all these locked wooden crates and cameras ! It looks very gross and I can guarantee you their are mice and rats!! Theirs food being stored in not healthy sanitary do conditions ! After seeing the back of where food is prepared and stored I would never never eat there again! It makes me sick to my stomach what they have been serving us! Stay away and go elsewhere ! Food is ok, but came cold this past time. I ordered through GrubHub at 6:15 pm. Order arrived at 7:50 pm. Called the store multiple times as GrubHub said they weren't answering. The worker said the driver would be here in a second. Then 15 minutes later I call she says I'll call and call you back. Naturally she does not call me back and so I call and she says "oh, you're all the way down that area, he'll be there in 10 minutes." No apology, no explanation except that they got backed up. I just thought it was interesting that when I called the first time she seemed to have just then realized there was an order placed.

Driver shows up and tries to deliver my order across the street. I yell to him out of the front door that it's the wrong house and he says oh ok. He hands the order over - doesn't say a word. No sorry, no here's your order, nothing. I had left a tip on GrubHub, too.

We bought from here pretty often. We also ordered a decent amount, too. Definitely the last time. Horrible service - very clear to me that they don't value the business I bring as a customer, so I won't.

I wouldn't chance having people over for dinner and ordering from here, you may end up waiting...

While the food was decent and ready very quickly, the customer service was abysmal. I ordered my husband the hot and spicy chicken thinking it would be equivalent to General Tsos, but it ended up being a container of very little chicken and mostly vegetables. I put in an order for General Tsos and drove all the way back with the hot and spicy chicken to tell them this was not a chicken dish as described on the website. There was quite literally little slivers of chicken amongst a plethora of vegetables. The worker at the register opened it up and said that was hot and spicy chicken, and that’s how they make it. I told him there was no description of it being mostly vegetables like it was, but he could have cared less. I told him I ordered General Tsos to replace it. He didn’t even care to make it right and had the gall to tell me I could throw out my initial order when I was spending my money there twice to get the dinner my husband and I wanted. I understand I could have ordered the “correct” thing, but it was our first time trying Mandarin Court, and I will not spend my money again somewhere that doesn’t care to make things right with...
