If you have a Canadian driver's license, don't try shopping here - they won't accept it...
Umm, not meaning to be a bother, but would you guys mind taking a second look at your policy on ID? This is the only liquor store I've visited in the Hudson Valley that doesn't accept my Canadian driver's license as a valid form of ID. According to NY state law (page 8 of the New York State Liquor Authority Handbook for Retail Licensees), a driver's license issued by a Canadian province is a valid form of ID - I shouldn't need to carry around a passport just to prove that I'm over 21. Because you wouldn't accept my license, I ended up going to a liquor store I don't like & spending a much larger amount of money to acquire the same product. Read moreI have only shopped here 2 times and will not again. Each time I encountered the same lady, which may be way I've had such a negative experience. First visit, I arrived to the store 10 minutes before closing and she slammed the door in my face, not allowing me to shop. Second time and second chance for them.... same lady at the checkout (who refuses to wear her mask about her nose) was not thrilled that I forgot my driver's license in my car. I forgot because I am trying not to bring my huge purse into stores (covid precautions), I apologized and said I would run out to my car quickly to get it.
