Great Vibe, Disappointing Food & Drinks
I really wanted to love Little Bits Coffee Roasters - the atmosphere is honestly fantastic and easily the best thing about this place. It's got that cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to settle in with a good book. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end.
The Bad: The breakfast sandwich was a mess. Thick, overwhelming bread with a paper-thin egg that barely registered as protein. The bacon was basically a tiny strip, and they went way overboard with the cheese - it was just greasy and unbalanced. For the price, I expected so much better.
The matcha latte was even more disappointing. It tasted like warm milk with maybe a whisper of matcha powder thrown in. Where was that earthy, vibrant matcha flavor? Completely drowned out by dairy.
The Good: I did try a frappe on another visit and it was actually decent - well-blended and tasty. Not amazing, but solid.
Bottom Line: I won't be back. The atmosphere can only carry you so far when the core products - food and coffee - consistently miss the mark. There are too many other great coffee spots in Rochester to settle for mediocre drinks and poorly executed food, no matter how nice the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really want to love this place and have it succeed. As it stands today, I do not love it. First of all, they had a sign claiming some affiliation with Chai Guy, though I'm not sure what that is since their chai is nowhere near as good as Chai Guy. Since my wife thinks the chai is bad, she wants to get her drink from elsewhere. This makes it impossible to please us both and so we tend to go elsewhere.
But I think the biggest problem is customer service. Everyone is nice but they seem to do very little for the customer. I ordered a coffee and was given an empty cup and pointed to a carafe by the creamer. This makes me feel unvalued, like they can't bother to fill the cup like every other coffee shop anywhere. Then when paying, I'm shown the leave-a-tip screen. Am I expected to tip someone for handing me a cup?
This sounds petty, yet understand that I am comparing it to competitors in the area. It's not a terrible place, just not as good as elsewhere. If other places fill my coffee cup for me and have good chai, why...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been waiting to come here and so glad I finally got the chance ! Such a great vibe and experience with my two littles under 3 years old , so that was a huge plus ! Itās a cute space with lots of delicious options and friendly staff. I asked for a yummy iced latte recommendation and they gave me some of their popular choices and I went with one that was perfection ! I got a brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso , the bacon egg and cheese on a bagel and a blueberry muffin . Everything was delicious and we sat outside on a really nice day . I canāt wait to go back again !...
