The Reserve Bar at The Market at I-Square — Restaurant in Town of Irondequoit

Pleasantly surprised with The Reserve!

It was my first time to I-Square and when I walked in, it appeared to be similar to a food court. When I'm looking for a wine bar, I'm looking for a place with many wine selections to choose from, light bites and a comfortable place to hold a conversation and catch up with friends...not a food court. To my surprise, The Reserve is EXACTLY what I look for!

Gino was a wonderful host/bartender! He was attentive, knowledgeable and fun. As the evening went on, the place began to fill up and Gino stayed on top of everyone's needs throughout the bar. Apparently there is a private room available and they were hosting a wine dinner that evening. Based on the number of people in the bar within 30 minutes of the dinner starting, it looks like they had a great turnout!

Went in there after a run with a local group to get a drink. Asked for a beer they had on a video display and the bar tender asked "Are you part of the craft beer of the month club?", which I told her no, and she replied in a snotty tone, "then no you can't, you have to be a member". I think the whole thing could have been handled much better and in a more professional way. And I won't be going back to join their club...

One of my favorite places to go after a jog through the Ontario beach area. 99 cent wings- combined with a constant rotation of craft beer- makes this place a winner every day of the week.

Expect to pay under 20 dollars for a meal...
