Mark's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Irondequoit

We used to order twice a week for a couple of years. The food was always on point and the service was outstanding. Tiffany new my order ny heart never had a bad experience, she goes above and beyond and she was very professional and friendly. As of 2 months ago my last 4 orders were wrong when I told a manager named Val, after the 3rd order was wrong she didn't care and was very rude and hung up on me.. the fourth order was wrong AGAIN unreal, all said and done they gave me a 10% discount. When you have loyal customers that order weekly you would think the matter would if been handled better. I for one first hand hard help is very hard to find in these times as for I have been in food service for over 35 yrs.. It's a shame, and throughout the Irondequoit community I've been hearing the same thing about this Mark's, how much it has changed in the evening. I will not be spending anymore $ with them. When I am in Penfield that Mark's is great, I do recommend. In Irondequoit in the evening go to Amicos, everything us excellent and you are treated as you should be. Whomever Val is, she shouldn't be interacting...

Good food but patently bad service…a year ago I placed a “party” sized order and upon delivery asked for plates and napkins, i was told that I did not ask for them and the delivery person did not have any…ok, so I chalked that up to maybe I should not have tipped the driver soo much…having learned my lesson in year two I placed another party sized order which including “delivery charges” and tip approached $150, this time I explicitly asked for “plates and napkins” and was assured by the person taking my order that I would get them. SHAME ON ME…of course the driver shows up with all the food at the party location without the requested plates and napkins and i am left holding the bag as the driver wanted me to wait while my food got cold so she could go get me some. ONE JOB, THE DELIVERY PERSON HAS ONE JOB…and I tipped them for what? NOT A PLACE I WOULD RECOMMEND AS I WOULD EXPECT TO GET THE SERVICE I PAID FOR TWICE (once in the form of a delivery charge and once in the...

I have ordered from this store before without incident as everything has been fresh and skillfully prepared. Yesterday, I was gravely disappointed to find that the Chicken Tenders had been given an almost black coating form the deep frying. Maybe the oli wasn't hot enough originally and to push the cooking process up the items were left longer than necessary in the oil. I don't know and could suggest other things that would permit this outcome. The only edible parts were the center. The rest was near black edges to deep brown and hard.

The rest of my order was the normal.and expected food...
