Update: now down to 1 star. Never got checked on to see if anything else was needed, Gina just walks by and leaves check mid walk with out making sure food was okay burnt toast, son wanted cereal, I wanted to order two lunch meals to go to eat later, none of which happened. Go to cash out and ask why servers never check on their customers and get looked at like I have 10 heads. I shouldn’t have to chase down or beg my waitress for service Would give 5 stars, but each time I’ve been there the service is not great. Came in with my son and sat near the AC which was great, it was hot. A family then shows up who must be regulars, server shut off AC, which then caused the whole area to get uncomfortably hot and muggy, and she wouldn’t turn it back on when asked, would pass by us without asking if we needed anything else or refills, but was catering to the “regulars”. Next trip, again, get treated like dirt because I’m assuming at this point we aren’t “regulars”. Was rushed(only couple tables seated). Kids wanted milk shakes after their meal, but she just dropped the check about 2 min after we got our food without asking if we wanted anything else, and never came back. Waiting for a box and no one is around, so go to counter to ask the lady for one and I look over and they are already clearing our table. I’d like to continue to support the establishment as I love the food, and the one lady who cashed out and hosts(maybe an owner?) is very pleasant. But I can’t deal with being treated like we are invisible when ever we are there.

A cute family diner nestled just a few blocks from Lake Ontario. I dined here for lunch recently and had no complaints with my experience. It is much like you would expect, a mixture of locals reading the paper and having their coffee, and families enjoying a home cooked lunch, and workers grabbing a quick bite before running out the door. I opted for a BL (BLT hold the T) and it was good- I ordered it on untoasted bread so the kitchen had to remake it when it got to the service window and they had missed that detail. Other than that, service was prompt, my onion rings were tasty, and I thought the prices were very reasonable. If I am in the area again I would certainly stop in.

Charming diner located near Sea Breeze with a large menu selection. I still have not been to their mini-golf course. It's on my "to do" list. We ordered breakfast and it was unlike other breakfast in the area. Before I forget, our waitress Ann Marie was awesome! Back to breakfast, creative flavors and huge portions. I had the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes---their #1 selling pancakes, filled with homemade cinnamon sauce and homemade glaze. It was delicious! My mother had Banana Caramel Pecan Pancakes and they were delicious and decadent ... lots of bananas, pecans, homemade caramel syrup, and glaze. Pancakes were perfect! They were not too heavy and had perfect texture and flavor.

Second time here since moving back. Last time was amazing. The waitress remembered me from over a month ago and is super friendly. Gave me time to go through the menu without interrupting me, always a plus. I ordered the strip and eggs with the pumpkin soup. The steak was a perfect med rare, it did need some salt and pepper but I'd rather add my own. The eggs and potatoes were perfect, no seasoning needed for the home fries. Now let's talk about that soup. I remember the first time I had a home made sweet potato pie, it was life changing. This soup mmmmmm. If you like pumpkin pie or sweet potato pie, try this soup it will not disappoint. As always the service was amazing.

Have been living in Rochester my entire life, always passed by this place on the way to Seabreeze or the beach, but had never been here. Well let me be the first to tell you this place is a sleeper. Their food is incredible, honestly better than most diners in Rochester. Typically I’m skeptical of corn beef and hash at diners because it’s usually not homemade, but Parkside’s is phenomenal. Best corned beef and hash I’ve had. Putt putt golf is one of the oldest in the country, and oddly much more difficult than I expected. Definitely give this place a try! Staff was quick and friendly as well.
