Francescos — Restaurant in Town of Islip

So my bestfriend and I return from Thailand me 1 month him 5 years.. He wants a great pizza !! So another friends suggests la slice Vs franscesco challenge!! So were like yess!! After purchasing we are in the parking lot and cant wait so we yo in la slice first.. i take 3 bites and im like ahh .. take a few sips of tea and Francesco is next. On the very first bite im like this is it!! Omg eat this one.. my friends like hold on.. hes on the crust already of the first slice, he takes one bight and says oh yea this is the one!! So when he comes back in another month I have another pizzeria i will challenge with franscescos!! The sauce and spices are out of this world and the cheese is fresh!! Must try!! Although i was disappointed with the fried oreos.. i had bragged about. They were chewy! And i think they shoyld be...

In town at a hotel literally a mile away. Ordered a pizza, garlic knots and a 2 liter and had an estimated delivery time of 45 min. An hour and 15 min later I called to see where it was and the guy was pretty rude about it. Told me they are working on it and it is coming out now. Another 45 min later I called again and he was still rude and said the driver was in my area. Got pizza, taste good but is cold. Then realized I never got my 2 liter. The only reason I would even give 2 starts is 1 because I can tell the pizza probably is good when hot. But the biggest reason was the delivery driver. He went to a 7-Eleven and bought me a 2 liter to make up for not having one. I understand places get busy..... But...

Recently moved to East Islip, tried many different Italian pizza places and nobody can beat their amazing prices, service, quality of food, friendly atmosphere, it’s literally like eating at your grandmother’s house. I had a bbq catered from this place, and everyone is still raving about the food!!!!! My favorites are the chicken franchise, eggplant pizza, meatball parm, chicken soup, and spinach pinwheel, and many more, too many to mention.
