Awesome place!! I love local places they're usually more intimate, serene and drama free. Ppl seemed to all get along and just be able to conversate, laugh and enjoy their day/night happily and peacefully. I loved that everyone was friendly and convos were with everyone across the bar it didn't matter if u were friends or strangers; everyone's opinions/thoughts were included n more importantly respected. There aren't many places (before covid even) that make u feel so at ease. The bartender we had was amazing!! He was very personable and I don't think 1 person had to ask for a refill the gentleman was on top...

Let me say this, any review of ones favorite hangout is biased, so here I go, if u look for fancy or food this isn't it, I suggest u stick with what u familiar with, I love this place, a quintessential dive bar, been going there for years, gritty, rough and LI CHARMING, great people, bartenders as well as locals, (sometimes crazy, nutty, friendly, funny, humble, normal or a little misery) it's all here, 20 years and never felt hostile, go check it out everyone is...

a small intimate locals bar... lots of fun on weekends! small pool table in back drinks are great and Dave the bartender works Saturday nightsz let's just say I drive from farmingdale after work and pass 100 bars on the way but I drive all the way to hometown because of Dave ! 😉...
