Shennanigans Cafe — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Met 20 other friends for lunch today at Shenanigans, in Ronkonkoma.

Real old school Tavern vibe in there.

They sat us in the back room, so we had it all to ourselves

Our waitress was phenomenal

Nice, pleasant, and professional.

She even came to the bar where we were waitng for everyone to arrive, to introduce herself, and let us know everything was ready, and we could sit, whenever we were ready

The owner came around as we were eating and asked each table how everything was..Nice touch..

This was my 116th burger, in 29 months.

I had heard about their burger a while back, and was glad I finally got to try it.

As always, I ordered it medium rare, no rabbit food.

To me, it's one of the best burgers around.

It moved into my Top 10, immediately upon tasting it

The saltiness, earthiness, and umami was all there.

I love when I find a good burger in Suffolk County!!!

The bun was a bit oversized for the burger, no biggie

French Fries were a bit different ...They were red potato slices, with a crinkle cut..They had an enjoyable buttery taste to them..

An added plus to this fantastic burger, was that it was only $12, because it was Burger Mondey Special👏👏👏👏👏

Definitely encourage you to try the place out..They seem to have something going on every night of the week.

Some of our group were going back on Thursday for Music Bingo, and Prime Rib night, on Saturday.

Plenty of parking, btw

My friends and I had a Christmas party at Shenanigans. Although the room was cute, and clean, I t very small to accommodate all of us. They put out the appetizer’s which did look kinda tasty, but the taste was terrible! When they out the food out, we had to ask for serving utensils. The shepherds pie was watery and greasy, but just a little bit of mashed potato on top. The chicken marsala was hard watery and disgusting. They also had Penne a la vodka! That dish was ok. If it wasn’t for the desserts that everybody who went there supplied and bought, I would’ve went home hungry. I would never eat there again, and I don’t think anybody else in our party would either coffee is supposed to be included. The survey came with one cup at a time and that everybody got coffee. Nothing else was offered. They only had Sprite and Coke to drink in pictures and there was only one picture of each I wanted a picture of water and I couldn’t even get a hold of a server. The parking lot had huge holes in the back of the building. It was raining so we had to get out of our car and...

I order a white Russian it is the worse I have had in a long time. The Lobster bisque it was watered down something. I can’t understand the great reviews it got. This is more of a Beer bar with cliques. I’m a social butterfly it was hard to talk to anybody. This was not my first time here. The smell of pot was unbelievable I’m ok with it as long as it’s not in a place of business. During the summer they had a great menu. I use to like coming here before visiting with friends and family. I would always run into someone I knew. Now blah! Maybe it was an off evening. The age bracket was fine with me as I am in my 50s so it was OK to see people my age. I will try another time and see how it goes but I...
