Meat The Greeks — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I had read about this little gem and finally decided to try it . Upon arriving my first impression was “WOW “ this truck is nestled on a cute piece of property with beautiful curb appeal with beautiful plants and Greek music playing . Now for the food experience- the truck was immaculately designed and immaculately clean . Staff was super friendly and the food was so fresh and delicious . So why only 4 stars ?? because they use soybean oil in the salad dressings - seed oils are so unhealthy - I was disappointed that a Greek restaurant this good wouldn't use high quality Mediterranean Olive Oil only ! . Placed an order online, it was easy to use and easy to order. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken gyro meat. I was given grilled chicken instead of the chicken gyro which is why I gave it 4 stars. The dressing is sooo good! The salad is delish and fresh just wish it had the correct meat that I ordered. I wanted an extra dressing (didn’t realize it already came with plenty and I didn’t even need it) and I didn’t see a button to click to add extra dressing so I put it in the notes. When my son picked it up they said the extra wasn’t paid for but they gave a small one anyway which was very nice. All in all I recommend them the food...

good food and great service. the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The cook is also friendly and so far I've tried the chicken and lamb gyro as well as chicken souvlaki and the Greek fries (fries with feta cheese) multiple times. each time it was finger licking good. lol

all in all for 1 person you will spend on average between 10 and 20 dollars which is not bad at all compared to eating fast food chain restaurants. this is fresh food and worth the cost and small wait time while the food is prepped.

a nod to the amazing customer service as the staff was so nice to gift my daughter a Greek chocolate bar....
