Raynor Beach County Park — Attraction in Town of Brookhaven

I accidentally turned into this parking lot late at night when I didn’t know where I was and made a wrong turn. This security guard with a flashing red light immediately runs over when I had already corrected myself to leave, begins screaming at me and belittling me, cursing, trying to chase me down. I try to explain that I simply made a wrong turn and that was not enough for him: he was cursing, screaming and being the most foul human being I have ever seen, and he could not have been older than 24 years old. He then proceeded to take a photo of my license plate on his cell phone and will probably try to report me for a crime I did not commit. I will be reporting this disgustingly rude amateur and you will bet that I will never, ever support this park or the town...

Nice playground with lots of equipment. The park is gated and set back from the road which is nice if you have small children. There is a soccer field, baseball field and tennis Court all on the premises. The equipment is in pretty decent condition but a little bit older. And I haven't seen metal slides in a long time, since the 90s. But they still seem to have metal slides. It was fun now but I'm assuming these get very hot in the summer. Nice little Park. Used to walk with My little one while pregnant with her sister. The playground is clean on the Ronkonkoma Avenue side. The west side of the park closer to the lake, I wouldn't bring my kids. The fields are nice with the shade on game days. Wish the restroom stayed open on Game days have to travel home or to the neighborhood retailers for the kids to use. All...
