Route 27 Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Islip

I placed my first ever CATERING order here (like ever in my life) for my daughters 3rd bday celebration at Camp New for Kids. Whoever I spoke to had an attitude. I asked questions regarding some of the food & he gave me an “obviously” type of response. For one of the items he harshly told me it wasn’t available bc I shouldn’t have ordered last minute (ordered one day prior) & I agree with him but he didn’t have to sound so rude about it. Then when it was time for me to give him my card info he became frustrated with my reading of the 16 numbers & then he wanted me to make sure I had enough on my card?? Idk. I understand we have bad days sometimes but he totally killed my mood & I am not interested in ordering from them again considering I just paid about $250 & I received this type of communication. Additionally, I told him to arrive at 6:30pm they arrived at 6pm what kind of catering is that?? When the party started at 6:30pm the food was getting cold. I placed an order to this pizza place because my friend highly recommended it. I ordered an eggplant parm hero with Voca sauce and I got no sauce and when I called the store back and tried to talk to a manager. I was told that the cook is the manager, and had to wait on the phone for at least 5 min. Finally the cook/manager got on the phone and told me he put sauce on my sandwich. He actually argued with me over it. I have been a manager at pizzerias for many years and I have never argued with any customers. I'm not saying the customer is always right, but there is a time and place..... when the delivery driver came back to give me my money I showed him the sandwich and even he agreed that there was no sauce. Long story short, lol, to late. Never ordering from here again and definitely telling everyone I know...

Their food will make you sick and they are thieves. I left my wallet in the restaurant with only two employees in there and when I came back one employee had my wallet. When I asked if they found my wallet he said yes but it was by the bathroom he said. Before I could say a word he said people are scumbags like he knew all my money was gone. Hmmm how did he know I didn't leave my wallet in the bathroom??? Easy because he took my money himself. These people are scumbags. Their food sucks and they are low life's.
