I’ve ordered takeout from The Whale Tea & Ramen many times, and I can confidently say it’s been a five‑star experience every single time. The quality is consistently excellent, the packaging is reliable, and everything always arrives fresh and flavorful.

The rice bowls and ramen are fantastic—deeply flavorful broth, noodles with the perfect texture, and vegetables that are always cooked well. Even as takeout, the food feels carefully prepared and thoughtfully put together. Every bowl I’ve tried has been hearty, balanced, and comforting, which is exactly what keeps me coming back.

On top of that, I’ve explored pretty much the entire drink menu and every single one has been delicious. I’ve tried drinks from every series: their Milk Foam, Slush Series, Fresh Milk, Whale Crystal, Crème Brûlée, Fresh Fruit Tea, Fresh Fruit Milk, Oolong, and Classic. They’ve all been delicious in their own ways. Each has its own unique character, but what they share is consistency: smooth textures, refreshing flavors, and just the right balance. It’s rare to find a place where you can order anything on the menu and know it will be good, but The Whale Tea & Ramen delivers.

I love the whale tea with all my soul. I wandered in one evening, searching for a good boba place; Let me tell you that this was the most magnificent boba place ever. The tea is so amazing I immediately ascended and gained higher consciousness. The popcorn chicken brought me to tears with how they were practically balls of joy. I am always delighted to go and have ventured to many boba places, but none compare. This place has set such a standard for boba with such an impeccable taste that no other boba place has been able to compete with them. The quality of the cups, truly amazing. The food speaks for itself, always being perfectly made. The staff here are welcoming and are quick with service. I come here so much that the owner knows me because that is how much i love this place. Who needs xanax when you have The Whale Tea. It is so incredible that after i started buying from this place my life got better. I got accepted into a good school, have had better relationships(i get more now), my grades are always in the high 90's, and I even got closer to God; All because I started drinking their tea. Was excited to see boba on the south shore. Ordered a Thai milk tea for myself and my daughter wanted a vanilla cupcake. My tea was very good and I would go back for that. My issue is with the "Bakery" claim.

I found it odd that they didn't ask which of the few selections of cupcake in the display case she wanted. One that looked completely different from any of the display was placed in a bag for us. She took a bite in the car and said it tasted bad. I asked to see it, it was rock hard, it felt weeks old. When we brought it back inside they told me "Oh, I forgot to tell you, you need to wait 10 minutes and it will be fine." That was weird but it's a new place and I wanted to give them a fair shot. We followed the directions. The cake remained hard and inedible.
