Momos Too Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Flawless first trip to Momo’s Too in Bayport! This local bar/restaurant is a great place to come for a unique drink & great bar food.

Located on Montauk Hwy in Bayport, the parking lot shouldn’t be an issue. There are spots in the front, on the side, and in the back of the restaurant. They also have a large patio space. Currently, they have a tent set up on the side of the restaurant.

The prices are very fair. They give a lot for the $$.

The service was very friendly and attentive. The ticket times weren’t long and all of my food came out fresh. We were able to get drink refills when we needed them.

The food was so delicious! They had a few awesome food specials and lots of drink specials. No free soda refills. I will be reviewing what I tried:

-Boneless Wings (Thai Chili & Honey BBQ): No wonder these are “famous”! Some of the best boneless wings I’ve ever had and they give a nice sized portion for the price. I absolutely loved the Thai chili! The glaze on the juicy chunks of meat was spectacular. The honey BBQ were good, but I’d prefer the Thai chili. My recommendation is to order a bunch of different flavors & share (post covid obviously). 5 out of 5 stars

-French Onion Soup (Special): $5 which is a great price for an awesome French onion! There was so much cheese. The broth had a unique taste which I enjoyed. As a self proclaimed French onion soup connoisseur, I was very impressed!! 5 out of 5 stars

-Pepperoni Rolls: I felt indifferent about these. They weren’t bad, but I wasn’t overly impressed with them. There wasn’t enough cheese. 2.5 out of 5 stars

-BBQ Nachos: ORDER THESE! They were so flavorful. The pulled pork was nicely seasoned. The cheese and various toppings were packed on and served in a large serving bowl. 5 out of 5 stars

-Pretzel Burger (Special): Wow this was great! The cheese and toppings piled high. The American cheese and nacho cheese went so well with the pretzel bun and the jalapeños gave this the spicy element it needed. It was cooked to a perfect med rare (as requested). Chose sweet potato fries which were served hot and crispy with some maple dipping sauce. 5 out of 5 stars

Overall, I could kick myself for not trying Momo’s sooner!...

Attention Long Island: THIS PLACE WAS FANTASTIC! The food was great! Best tater tots I ever had. Daily Lunch Special is a CAN'T MISS. The atmosphere is super relaxed and welcoming. Really comfortable. Times are tough & the experience my husband and I had today for lunch was such a refreshing change of pace from the stress living on this island brings. Momo's was awsome! I went to dinner with my husband, our first time eating here. We have passed it hundreds of times coming from South Sayville to Patchogue for a night out. Tonight we were driving to Patchogue for din din and turned around to give it a shot. Nothing fancy, which is a good thing. Food was great (I had a burger, cooked perfect and hubby had a beautiful panini) staff was VERY friendly and the restaurant was clean. It's a bar that's still family friendly.
