Valentino’s Peruvian Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Islip

I used to go to this restaurant for years and stopped due to the service and the food not being consistent. I decided to give it another shot today and after all these years, no change. One of the servers was nice & friendly, however the other one had attitude. The “coffee” was basically water and although the first order of tamales was great, the second tasted old & the chicharrones, hard.

When you go to a Peruvian “restaurant”, you expect Peruvian flavor which this restaurant lacks.

It honestly felt like deja vu and was quickly reminded why we stopped coming.

Food was disgusting it took 80 mins for the food to get to my home the delivery kid gave me a horrible attitude blamed his boss and the location of where i was which is only a 5 min drive away i could of walked there and been faster and said i wasn't the only one he had to deliver to which i get but 80 mins is not acceptable when you say 30-40 mins. After many years as a customer they have changed there great pizza maker I advice anyone buying pizza to be aware they don't make the pizza like they did in the past, the quality has become poor they make the pizza dry with less sauce and cheese and the toppings have been cut down ,they charged 39 dollars for 2 pizzas with limited toppings and very dry not much sauce or cheese, I told the pizza maker to please put extra sauce but on 5 occasions he never listened ..I wouldn't recommend this place if you want quality.
