Moss Street Deli And Country Store — Restaurant in Town of Kingsbury

Moss Street Deli is a little restaurant dealing more with take out than dining in but they do have that option. We ordered a roast beef sub for takeout. When we asked if it was possible to get cabbage on the sub instead of lettuce we were told they had a prepared cabbage blend. We went for it. Between ordering and picking up we were sidetracked. We called to let them know we would be awhile. They said no problem, it's in the cooler. We got the sub and found out the cabbage had a dressing on it. My wife was concerned it might be too spicy and asked if they could take it off her side of the sub. The gal there looked kinda dumfounded. I recognized the look as I believe I looked the same way. The wife relented and went on to enjoy the sun. Sometimes you just have to take a chance. They always seem to have fresh products and run...

This is by far the best place to get subs! My family and I tried for a long time to find our "sub place", -we needed a sub and pizza place (🥰). THIS is the sub place. They are amazing. I am very picky with subs, but here.. they are always soooooo good! I have a bunch of family and friends in the area and I will only recommend Moss street deli. They have so much more than subs, they have plenty of country store products like pickles, nuts and so much more. This is an absolute MUST try in the area. I maybe wish they were open a little later as it is difficult to get there after work, but like today I went early to have it for later, trust...

I don't know what happened to the one negative review because I absolutely loved my sandwich. They were very nice and had a fun little selection of local goods as well. I highly recommend you stop by as I know I will be returning before I head back to CA! The patriotic staff even offered my brother and I a military discount which was very nice. I wish I could transport this little deli out to California with me to show them people what Upstate New York sandwiches are like! Thank you so much and will be seeing...
