Anytime Fitness — Local services in Town of Kingsbury

Was told upon signup ($22 every 2 weeks) that I could record fitness content & train my friends.... 6 months later as I enter the Hudson falls location to do a HIIT workout with my female friend... the owner (James) who told me upon sign up I could do said things demeaningly chased me down from behind to first tell me he forgot my name then to tell me he saw me guiding my female friend through a workout last Friday (it is now Monday) & that it's strictly prohibited as if I did something wrong. Helping someone better themselves at a gym is prohibited when we both pay our overpriced membership? Thats wild to me especially since to get me to sign up I was told it was okay. My female friend now feels uncomfortable working out there & it seems like all that James cares about is the money & not curating a welcoming place for people to come together & better themselves. He told me if I had been doing the exercises with her it would've been okay but since I was just guiding her it was strictly prohibited... I call that petty & nonsense. Won't remember your name, overpriced, petty & doesn't care about you just the money they can get from you! James then tried to get me to pay $150 to cancel/buy out my contract which he ended up waving because he admittedly did tell me those things...

Legitimate 5 stars. I've been a member of Anytime for about 6 years total, across a few home gyms, and have been to many others in 4 States now. It's a good size, with a good variety of equipment. The owner and staff are extremely helpful and courteous, and will go out of their way for you. Bathrooms and gym areas are always clean and we'll maintained, which is more than I can say for others I've been to. Seems like something should be done with the super long hallway though lol. Maybe a rock wall??

I have been a member at this location for quite awhile. Professional staff/trainer is super friendly during staffed hours. I visit mostly weekday mornings early AM and it's un-staffed then. FYI...You can change the TV channels but NOT the music, which plays the same songs every single day. Facility is mostly clean except for the mirrors. Room temperature is sometimes crazy hot and stuffy when it's hot outside. Equipment is in good shape and sanitizer spray is readily available for wiping down the equipment...
