Il Forno Pizzeria LaGrange — Restaurant in Town of La Grange

This humble but mighty little gem is centrally located on Route 55 by the high school, in the plaza that housed the former Dunkin. I tried their cuisine last week and was impressed!

I consider myself an eggplant aficionado. I'm really passionate about eggplant, whether it's in a wedge, on pizza, or topped on pasta. I'm picky about the way its prepared, and I'm very choosy about Italian American fare. I do not like subpar Italian American anything. My sandwich was delicious and the bread was made on the premises. I enjoyed their tasty sides and appetizers, and was delighted by their desserts. Everything tastes homemade because it IS.

The customer service is great, with a competent, courteous, friendly staff. The young man who rung me up was so sweet. They are so hard-working, down to earth, and polite. They genuinely appreciate your business! There's a feeling of pride that emanates from the staff and restaurant. They are proud of their business - as well they should be! It made me proud of my neighborhood, neighbors, and local businesses. These individuals care about the quality of their food and service. I love that the food is prepared right in front of you. They have their pizza-making methodology down to a science. 🤌

You can dine in or take out. Fast service, and yes, you can place orders through their website. Very convenient.

I can't wait to try more of their menu offerings. If you're hosting a casual Friday night pizza party or family gathering, are craving some Italian American comfort food, or just want to try a new eatery, you should stop by!

Let me start by saying that I drove over an hour to try this place out! I’ve been hearing so much about it that I had to check it out for myself. From the moment I walked into Il Forno’s I was captivated by its charming atmosphere. I absolutely loved their decor! The customer service was beyond exceptional – the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. And the pizzas? Utter perfection! I had a slice of the grandma pie, mozzarella sticks and Buffalo wings. Best pizza in the area!! I ordered twice for delivery, but I’ve never been inside. The service I received over the phone was impeccable. I ordered for my husband and I on one occasion and for a party of 30+ on another. I won’t ever order pizza from anywhere else. Everyone’s favorite was the penne vodka and homemade wings. The pizza was so flavorful, I also tried their IL Forno salad which was delicious & chicken caesar wrap. They even threw in some desserts that were phenomenal.
