Finally had the chance to check out Bloomfield’s Pub in Depew NY! OMG so many Gluten Free options it was INCREDIBLE! May have been my first time… Sure won’t be my last! #glutenfree #fyp #buffalony #food #highheather716

Four of us went to Bloomfield’s when I passed through Buffalo to visit my brother. We chose this Pub because we needed gluten free options. We walked into the pub and the ambiance was immediately inviting with its very clean and crisp look, comfortable high top tables as well as cozy booths, and well-placed TV’s for sports-minded patrons. Kimberly, the waitress was humorous and welcoming and guided us through the myriad of menu options. The many gluten free options were a welcome change from usual restaurant fare and before the meal was over we realized “gluten free” or GF on the menu stood for great food. So don’t shy away from the GF options- I chose them and liked every single item. Examples the tasty appetizers we selected with our draft beers were fried pickles - wow; veggie quesadillas - top choice; GF wings - crispy and seasoned; GF mozzarella sticks - handmade and another table favorite due to the great coating. We topped off the meal of appetizers with a Gluten Free luscious chocolate lava cake and we were completely satiated without ever having to worry about whether there was a gluten free option. As you can see, I took a chance at Bloomfield’s Pub and won. Stop by for a beer at the bar, and try a few appetizers and soon your taste buds will tell you the food, the company and the background music all make for a sweet way to treat yourself to good food. Added comment: upon my return to the Buffalo area I visited the Bloomfield’s Pub again and it was still a place for excellent food and drink. Jill, our waitstaff person, was helpful and attentive. The gluten-free items on the menu were still just as excellent as my original review. Even though the restaurant was unexpectedly full, we still received good service and good food. As a suggestion, It might be added that a sign should be available for the gentleman in the wheelchair who evidently needs to use the ladies room as it was somewhat disturbing for the women in our group when they attempted to use the lavatory. A little sign saying “in use for a moment, please wait” would suffice.

This place has a huge menu with a large selection of appetizers, including many gluten-free options. We came here for dinner. I went with the spinach mozzerella cheese bread, which I had seen other people post about. It was absolutely delicious, although I would have liked a bit more spinach. My husband enjoyed the chicken fingers and steak fries, and my uncle liked their burger wrap. The waitstaff was very attentive. I came back for lunch but was disappointed with the over-cooked spinach mozzerella bread. The tomato basil dip tasted like sugar water and didn't even stick to the then cold grilled cheese bites. The hot chocolate was a packet mixed in water with no whipped cream. Our waitress was the only waitstaff working. She worked very hard and was very nice. They have both bottled and draft beers, wine, and seltzers. The restaurant itself is very cozy. Note: The menu changes at 9:00 pm to a smaller snack menu of deep-fried foods.

If i could give 0 stars for service i would. Typically in a place where you see the owners often they’re walking around checking on their customers (especially their regulars) & that’s not the case here. I’ve gone multiple times a week for both their taco & wing nights. At first the service wasn’t too bad. However, as time went on the service got worse & worse. You’d see your waitress once to take your drink & food order & that was it. So drink your drinks very slowly. I’ve watched the owners look at our table with empty drinks on it & completely walk past without cleaning off the table or asking if we need refills. I’ve sent wings back for being raw, tacos back for being made incorrectly or just not getting my food at all. I’ve even had to send my tacos back for finding plastic in them & all they did was take 1$ off the bill. And don’t you dare ask to split checks or you’ll get the worst attitude from the servers. Will never be going back. This place has terrible communication among their staff & their staff needs to go through a customer service seminar or attitude adjustments. Terrible. As for the owners terrible response to my review “it seems you only come to take advantage of our special nights” what difference does it make whether i come on any other day vs. a day you have specials. My money is just as green on a Tuesday/Thursday. Awful business run by people who don’t know how to take a bad experience in their establishment & do what they can to make it right. Get...

Went because the owner is constantly bombing local Gluten Free groups with his adds. So wanted to give it a try. GF options are very remedial and don't seem homemade, rather frozen or on a long shelf life. Sauce on the chicken parm is chunky and odd flavor. If you can't do sauce well, just get Chef's and call it a day. Also note, it isn't a restaurant, rather a simple corner bar. Adjust your expectations accordingly. The server was friendly and accommodating, however.

We tried it once in June and it was below average. Wanted to give it another go in the hopes the last visit was an off day so we went more recently, and it was unfortunately the same. Not going to try it a 3rd time with so many other quality GF options in the area.

Note for other celiacs, there are several reports online that we have seen of cross contamination and food illness here. I can't confirm that, our visit we all made it out unscathed. However do note, those complaints are out there. If you do decide to go here, speak to the staff, make your dietary issue known, hope for the best and order accordingly.

This seems like more of a corner bar for the owner and his friends to...
