Iām an occasional customer. Hadnāt been there in a while. Travel throughout Connecticut and New York for work, so I know a good deli. I was at Cameronās around 3:30 pm on July 20th, 2024. I walk in and stand in front of the front case for a good few minutes waiting to order..⦠three employees can see me. Theyāre near the register, one is making a smoothie for another customer, the other two are just chatting at the register. No customer at register. No greeting, no hello, no āmay I help youā from any of them. I look around like āIs this for real?ā Finally Iām like āshould I take my own order or how does this work?ā Kid comes over to take my order⦠no pen. Goes to get a pen. Not a single employee of the 5 or 6 I saw had a smile or seemed happy to be there. Get my food and leave. I rarely leave reviews, but⦠if youāre looking for a hearty and filling wrap⦠this is NOT your place. I ordered an egg white and turkey wrap. Look at the pics and judge for yourselfā¦. I can see neither turkey or egg white the portions are so small? Maybe there was a singular slice of turkey? Maybe there was a single egg white? I donāt know? Was definitely the smallest most ridiculously thin and barren pathetic wrap Iāve ever had from any deli ever. Iād pay more with no problem to actually receive a legitimate meal. Also, maybe train your employees to greet each customer? Is it that hard for your team members to say hi? Let the customer know theyāre ready to help. Epic fail on customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were passing through the area and stopped here due to friends recommendation. My significant other has an allergy to peanuts. Sheās lucky that it isnāt life threatening like other who suffer with this allergy. We made the sub taker aware of this after hearing that the woman before us ordered a peanut butter and jelly. He was too busy taking multiple orders at the same time but acknowledged. The sub maker didnāt use a separate knife or clean the knife before he cut our chicken cutlet causing my partner to have an allergic reaction that is very painful. We understand these things happen but called to inform them of the situation. We didnāt want money back or anything for free. All we wanted is to share this information as a training opportunity so others with a more severe allergy donāt get sick. The man refused to acknowledge that it was a possibility that this happened and was extremely rude to us telling us āitās impossibleā and wouldnāt let my partner get a word in. Super unprofessional. This man must be trained properly and taught that this is a sensitive matter. He had no respect and out the...
