Exceptional place. We popped in on the way home from a mini celebration vacation. We had no reservations. It was almost 8p and we're ready to give up hope on finding anywhere to eat. The place is very small and busy. We hesitantly asked if they could possibly squeeze us in anywhere. A pleasant, friendly, very busy, woman said to give her a moment. While not missing a beat she continued to serve tables,make drinks, people & talk to other servers. She came back & said if we didn't mind she'd make room for us at bar. The food & service were outstanding Our server,whom I am guessing was in charge was incredible. The entire evening was wonderful. We thought when we pulled in parking lot that it was just a "Small bar" with a kitchen. After eating there I would have never believed we enjoyed such a delicious meal Husband had what he described as a top notch piece of prime rib with delicious home made mac salad. I had a lobster roll that was comparable to oceanside Connecticut. Our beautiful server who as busy as she was had been friendly and attentive the entire night. I slipped her a not it was my husband's birthday & to add on a piece of chocolate musse "cake " She brought out the cake including candle & asked everyone there to sing happy birthday. Everyone did !!! We'd never been there before but it appeared that the entire place was packed with wonderful friendly people. The experience was memorable. HATED this place. I ordered a meal without the chicken (which is very easy to do, I am a vegetarian and do it at restaurants all the time). The waitress came back and informed me that the cook would not do that for me. There was no other option for a vegetarian entrée. Come on people its 2020. And the cook is not some 5 star chef, get off your high horse and serve me my meal without chicken. I did not ask for the price to be reduced I just wanted my food. Will NEVER be going back, if I was not there for a friends birthday I would have walked right out. And to top it off they are not smart enough to split the check. Again people its 2020 get with the times. ZERO stars!

Do yourself a favor and make a trip out here. Don't let the exterior fool you. Every dish you can get is amazing, and you will talk about it, and the prices. I've lived in the area for years and finally went, now I can't get enough! My most recent foray, I got a dozen garlic oarm wings with a side of "suicide" sauce. It's the perfect amount of hot for people who like to sweat when they eat without making your lips numb. Tons of flavor and the wings are cooked to perfection.

On top of that the servers are very friendly and kind! Food arrived quickly and we chatted with out bar mates who were all very friendly.

The moral of the story here is don't judge a book (or a bar or it's patrons) by the cover!
