Vitale Park — Attraction in Town of Livonia

Vitale Park is located on Lake Canesus in Lavonia NY. This park has a large parking lot with plenty of handicap spots available. Restrooms are clean and available. This park is located on Lake Canesus which is one of the finger lakes in NY. A large concrete walkway is available next to the lake and makes for an enjoyable walk. Dogs are welcome and the park provides plenty of bags to pick up after your dog. Water faucets are scattered throughout the park to fill up the dogs bowl for a nice cold drink. Picnic tables and grills with shelters are provided( must reserve a shelter ahead if planning for a group day out) along with a few bench swings. A nice park for the family, for special events, for a walk or a jog, it has swimming available in the summer and even has a number of closely-located PokeStops for those who play Pokemon Go. It has a small playground for kids, a nice view of Conesus Lake (from this north end, you can effectively see the entire lake), flower gardens and gazebos, picnic tables and grills, and hosts live events regularly. Plenty of shade, lots of parking, and also several large, open, grassy areas to play or picnic or whatever you like.

Everyone we encountered was very friendly! And from an onlookers perspective it seemed all the different boats were pretty respectful to their neighbors. I appreciated no one boats music was overpowering anyone else's, and everyone had space. just saying....I'm not a ON THE boat person bc of medical reasons but have witnessed it from the shore...
