Spanky Oliver's — Restaurant in Town of Lyons

Spanky Oliver's is a nice place to visit for some delicious ice cream. Located in downtown Lyons, NY, this is a unique spot to hang out and chill with some Perry's ice cream. There's plenty of outdoor seating or you can take it to go. I'd recommend the extreme flurries as they're loaded with your favorite choices of candy and they're a bit bigger than the normal flurries. I was surprised a bit at how many choices of dessert options there were to choose from and the prices are very affordable and will make you want to come back again when you pass through. I appreciated the service my wife and son and I received from the man working behind the counter. He was very kind and patient and made our experience more enjoyable. I have been going here since before I was able to go by myself... Still 30yrs later... Great ice cream, Great prices, and PHENOMENAL staff!! The one worker there Haylee connected with my nonverbal autistic 6yr old son whom I couldn't figure out what he wanted... She went so far above an beyond got him an ice cream with sprinkles and he had the BIGGEST SMILE EVER!!! Afterwards she came to my truck and invited him to come back the next time she worked and then gave him $5 for his upcoming visit!! It really made me cry... She is one phenomenal young lady!!!!!! She made a very memorable...

Tough to beat the friendly staff and prices at Spanky Oliver's! A little bummed that the flavor Bursts only come with vanilla soft serve and not chocolate, but I definitely understand that having that option as well could be more costly and time consuming. (Chocolate soft serve with Butterscotch flavor Burst sounded really good while I was in line this evening!) A Chocolate and Banana shake hit the spot...
