New China Wok — Restaurant in Town of Macedon

My wife and I use to live in the Florida Keys. While there, we often ate at the Chinese restaurant where the new China Wok owners, worked. Their food was absolutely the BEST Chinese food out of all the Chinese restaurants down there. While traveling through Canandaigua, we heard Andy and his wife had bought the China Wok so we made a special trip to eat there. My wife ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan, Chicken and Pork Chow Mei Fun and Wonton Soup, while I got the House Special Fried Rice, BBQ Ribs, Seafood Delight and Egg Drop Soup.

The food was excellent and better than we remembered! It was well worth the trip!!! Our only disappointment....Sushi was not on their menu. We know for a fact that the new China Wok owners are highly skilled at making gourmet Sushi. Next time I’ll ask if we can order “off” their menu just to see what they create.

We definitely enjoyed their food and look forward to eating at the China Wok the next time...

I have lived in the area for 20yrs plus never had there food so I ordered $55.00 worth of food well they didn’t package the coconut chicken correct it got all over my car and the food so I called right away and told me he would credit my food do I took him for his word.. Today I decided to give it another try as we love our Happiness Garden so felt like we were cheating on them so I order a total of $80.00 wirth of food knowing I would pay the difference off of the credit but he calls up and said no only covering the coconut chicken and rice with some arguing. My wife didn’t even want me to order as the food was horrible quality last time what didn’t get covered in coconut chicken sauce but I always give a place a second chance well he rather tell me to buzz off instead over a simple...

This place used to be really good, my go-to Chinese place for years. However the quality and taste of the food has deteriorated and my order was wrong. I ordered their Kung Pao chicken extra spicy, and it wouldn't even have passed as spicy. That and the Lo Mein were semi flavorless. More disappointing is I ordered and paid extra for fried rice and got white rice. I also got someone else's sweet and sour sauce, which I noticed and gave back to her. She then put in the correct box. Otherwise that customer would have been missing part of their meal as well. He probably got my fried rice!
