Where do I begin, my girlfriend and I saw good reviews about this place online and decided to give it a shot since it is right down the street from us in Monroe. Our server was great and very friendly, so there was a positive start. It went down hill very quickly when we got our appetizer which was a simple spinach & artichoke dip. I think i counted about 12 or 13 chips in total on the plate with what looked like about a tablespoon worth of spin dip, which was of the poorest possible quality. But I’m a polite person until I really feel taken advantage of so I figured maybe this was a fluke and was willing to give my entree a shot. Which was seafood jumbalaya advertized as “traditional jambalaya” with rice, chicken, sausage, in addition to crawfish tail and tiger shrimp with a side of sauteed spinach. I recieved a laughable ice cream scoop ball of rice (honest equivilant to about a cup) with two tiny, yes tiny, shrimp cocktail peices displayed on top next to my “side” of sauteed spinach which were literally 4 spinach leaves surrounding my scoop of jambalaya. These weren’t even jumbo shrimp let alone tiger shrimp. I grew up on the shore. This is blatant deception. This entree also costs $19.00. Legitimately LAUGHABLE. I immidiately refused the order and asked for the check. My girlfriend took her blackened chicken po’ boy home since she was starving. Only to discover there was chicken on only one side of the bun. This place is a disgrace. Either the entire kitchen staff is incompetent or the owner is a deceptive and greed filled person who thinks passing off food like this is acceptable. Stay far far away. I will never even attempt to give them my business again and will do everything in my power to warn others. Oh the decor is cute though....

5 out of 5, highly recommend - especially in the warm weather as it was beautiful sitting outside. Very casual.

(I put the price point lower than it was because we stayed for over 3 hours and had a few drinks)

I was incredibly surprised at my experience at this restaurant. We originally chose it because when we called they let us know that our small canine companion was not only allowed on the patio outside, but inside as well. The food was absolutely outstanding, everything that the four of us got was tasty, fresh and perfectly seasoned.

The service? The bartender, Anne, waited on us for the first half of our visit, and not only was her service wonderful, but she stayed and chatted with us and was absolutely great.

Extensive Cajun food, but also your classics! The burgers are never frozen at any point... my brother said the burger was perfect. The Cajun fries were great if you like Cajun fries... the standard fries were also great! (Huge servings) My mother had the salmon teriyaki and ate every single bite. My daughter got the stuffed baked potatoes and says they are the best she has EVERE had. I had the French onion soup - and they didn't skimp on the...

Found this awesome bar/restaurant in the quaint little town of Monroe and so happy we did. Our Aunt lives nearby and we took her here for lunch. The food, the service, and the environment were spectacular. Incredibly welcoming and did I mention the food, menu, and service team were fantastic? Fried pickles, pulled pork, gumbo, and just about anything with their award winning sauce is a home run!

A bit more here...after enjoying our delicious lunch, we had a great conversation with our hosts and got to know them a bit more. Not to sound hoaky, but we were so impressed with them. If I am allowed my humbled opinion here, I feel that owners Scott and Sarah are what defines American spirit. Scott is FDNY firefighter, Sarah a hardworking mom, and they are both run this outstanding restaurant together. No rest for the weary, these folks are getting after their dream!

Go here, you...

Going into this restaurant we didn’t have much expectations as it seemed completely empty on a Sunday, however we were thoroughly surprised by how good the food tasted. We ordered burgers, cheesesteak, and their fried pickles. The fried pickles were amazing and we loved that the burgers came with Cajun fries. It was disappointing that their burgers came on English muffins it was kind of hard to eat. For being some of the only people there the service was mediocre. We did see a few sketchy characters in the parking lot.

Stopped here for an early lunch and it was great. Thought it was a NEW place but the bartender said it's been around for years. It's in kind of a strange spot and the entrance feels like it's at the back of a building. Nice pub atmosphere and great food. French Onion Soup and the Bacon Cheeseburger (with blue cheese) were delicious. Friendly folks at the bar, too. (I took the interior shots when I first walked in — before anyone else showed up lol)
