The Worst Penne A La Vodka in Town!
If you're looking for a culinary disaster, look no further. Come and experience it for yourselfâmaybe itâll be decent, maybe it wonât; who knows what youâll get!
Unfortunately, when I got home and discovered how dry and terrible it was, I called to request a replacement, hoping that my dish was just a fluke. To my dismay, I was met with indifference. The person on the other end didnât care enough to make it right and deliver me a new one to make up for the inconvenience. Itâs truly unfortunate to witness how this place has deteriorated.
The quality of the food is no longer what it once was, and itâs clear that the cooks are becoming careless. The attitude here seems to be a condescending "take it or leave it." In the end, I had to drive back just to have them acknowledge that the dish was indeed poorly made and as dry as could be. I did manage to get a refund, but itâs not about the moneyâitâs about the service and the lack of accountability.
Itâs heartbreaking to see what this place has become in just five short years. Letâs see if the owner has anything to say about this. I bet he wonât care enough to respond, and that will only prove my point further.
Save yourself the disappointment and skip this place! Oh, and he never once apologized for anything. Let me know if you'd like to see photos of the...
Read moreMy husband and I are native New Yorkers and are no strangers to a NY pizza joint. We just moved up here and haven't had much luck with finding descent pizza until now! I chose to go here because of the menu. It looked like the closest style menu that I could find to Long Island. Mostly Italian American options, lots of classic dishes, and not to much messing about with food choices that simply don't belong at a NY pizza place. The regular slice was perfect....exactly what you want in a NY slice. Very thin, but holds together. Not too much sauce. A slight char on the bottom crust. It came to the table piping hot which was great! I ordered the eggplant parm hero and it was exactly how I love it.. Very thinly sliced eggplant, not breaded....just flour, egg, and fry. This is perfect b/c without breadcrumbs, it doesn't become a soggy mess. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Perfect amount of filling compared with the hero. Now I feel confident ordering more dishes next time. We sat in the dining area and I noticed how clean and orderly everything looked. I can't wait...

đ„SWEET THAI CALAMARIđ„
Oh yea... and their minestrone lol My boy eats their pizza and he's down for the count with the Itis. Thank God for planet pizza. They put my 8 yr old for a nap haha usually the mini me can eat 2 maybe 3 slices if I don't stop him but one slice here drops him into a cheesy coma. I love the BBQ chicken slice and bacon chicken ranch. I have to say though.. I'm usually on a budget and Planet pizza is a bit steep but hey.. cheap pizza is yucky pizza so Planet pizza I must accept into my heart. I hope they make a sweet Thai salad of some sort one day.. romaine lettuce, tomatoes and red onions to start.. I'll be there every day for that.. forget the budget đ
Edit* I have went vegan/pescetarian because I have a TON of allergy issues that make me avoid Italian food like the plague. I still order calamari but have been reduced to the salads. Also, the prices keep going up. That is a HUGE bummer. Every time I stop here I'm dishing out an extra 50 cents more...
