Great Deli ... and friendly service. This place is a must to try! A team of Deli employees works hard to get you in and out of the store (even though there are several tables ... but no table service🙄). The place rocks ...so don’t be discouraged by a seemingly long line ... it moves fast and well worth the wait ... even at peak hours 😉 Many of the Deli items are pre-prepared ... like my favs ... varying stuffed Stromboni (not sure I got the spelling right?) and assorted prepared items. They’re the only ones I know that sell Flagels (like a bagel, but bigger ... not as thick). I like to have that toasted w/a little butter and the scrambled eggs w/onion;mixed peppers;tomatoes etc. on my morning stops ... Delish. They sell pizza too! Surprisingly good ... even though it’s not a pizza shop. There’s a written menu with the names of a dozen + outstanding signature sandwiches 🥪. Whatever your taste, there’s probably something for you? ... and you’re going to love it! Like I said ... it’s busy ... but even that’s fun. Locals and others ... from all walks of life, stroll in. The friendly competent staff are bound to impress. And, you’ll be sold with your first bite. George (and his father) run the operation. George is the front $ man you have to get past once your sandwich is ready. He’s quick, sure footed, friendly and competent! It doesn’t get any nicer then George! It’s amazingly to watch him ring up sales and listen to his quick witted responses to the regulars who habitually harass him and try to break him with teasing remarks and jokes. He doesn’t back down ... gives it right back! It’s a ‘real people’ kind of place! Give it a try ... you won’t be disappointed! It’ll become your...
Read moreThis place is a total rip off! The old Pats Deli was terrific! Get a roastbeef sandwich and watch them put 2 maybe 3 slices on it and then charge you $8.00 I saw how poorly they were making the sandwich, a small ahhh mound of meat w tomatoe, which I didn't ask for, so I said I had to get my wallet out of the car and left!! Last time I'll be there! 8/24/2024 For awhile this place seemed to get better. Was there today and waited 15 mins for a BEC on a roll. It never came. 2nd time in a few weeks. I go there once a week for a BEC. Not hard to make. Ended up walking out agian after people that came in 10 mins after me started to get there egg sandwich. Lasr week I had a tuna on rye, they didn't have white bread. Opened it up at my desk and ended up slamming it on my desk. I paid $12.00 for a rye bread sandwich with a hint of tuna on it. Maybe a 1/4" of tuna was on the bread. I will not go back !! It's pot luck what you get and if you get anything!! Deli's have become the biggest rip off artist of all times since the pandemic. They had individual bags of chips there. The Smal...
Read moreI just left with a container of hot chicken soup and the Mount Pleasant Sandwich. When I got back to my office, the container leaked all over the front passenger seat of my car, and now it smells like chicken soup. But I'm still in a good mood because this deli checks everything off the list. It was bright and clean with all the products neatly stocked on their shelves. Everyone behind the counter was lively, friendly and efficient. Not that it's a prerequisite on any check list for a deli, but it's nice that two of the guys were really easy on the eyes. My soup was sadly without any broth, but I still enjoyed copious chunks of chicken, mixed with scrumptious bits of carrot, onion and corkscrew pasta. Winner hands down, was my Mount Pleasant roll. I love broccoli rabe and they did it justice. Paired with the grilled chicken, mozzarella and prosciutto, it made for quite the satisfying lunch. I know everyone raves about the Sandwich Spot, but Pat's really deserves a visit. They have great sandwich variety and the prepared hot foods also looked very appetizing...
